Development Coordinator - Land Development

Nationwide Land Group is seeking a highly organized and motivated Development Coordinator to support residential land development projects throughout the entitlement and development process. The Development Coordinator will assist with project coordination, due diligence, municipal approvals, consultant management, process development, and operational support across multiple projects and jurisdictions. This role is ideal for someone interested in land development, civil engineering, planning, construction management, or real estate development and offers significant growth opportunities as the company expands. Primary Responsibilities Project Coordination • Maintain project schedules and milestone tracking • Coordinate consultants, municipalities, and project stakeholders • Schedule meetings and document action items • Prepare weekly project status updates • Maintain organized project files and documentation Entitlement & Municipal Support • Prepare and submit development applications • Track approvals, comments, and permit status • Research municipal requirements and development regulations • Identify and maintain relationships with jurisdictional contacts • Assist with due diligence and entitlement efforts Research & Development Support • Conduct zoning, utility, and development research • Gather GIS, mapping, and property information • Assist with project exhibits and presentation materials • Support feasibility and due diligence efforts Operations & Process Development • Create and maintain project workflows, checklists, and SOPs • Develop systems to improve efficiency and project execution • Assist in building processes for new service lines and business initiatives • Identify opportunities to improve internal operations Consultant Coordination • Coordinate engineers, surveyors, environmental consultants, and other project partners • Track deliverables, deadlines, and outstanding action items • Assist with proposal and contract administration Desired Qualifications • Strong organizational and communication skills • Ability to manage multiple projects simultaneously • Self-starter with strong follow-through • Interest in land development, engineering, planning, construction, or real estate • Experience with Microsoft Office, Google Suite and project management tools • AutoCAD, GIS, Bluebeam, or development-related experience is a plus Growth Opportunity This position is designed for long-term growth and offers advancement opportunities into Development Operations, Project Management, and Development Management roles as the company continues to expand. **PLEASE READ** As a way to best filter for only candidates who genuinely want the role, and don't just click "apply" to any and all posts, please follow these instructions; Please upload a short audio or video recording to your application explaining why you feel you may be a good fit for this role.
