Development and Supply of MUX16 DIN-Rail 4–20 mA Multiplexer Module Dear Sir/Madam, We are looking for an experienced hardware design partner for a new industrial electronics product. Attached is our requirements specification. It is intentionally written so that a quotation can be prepared without extensive clarification. If anything essential is missing, please include your assumptions in the quotation. Phase 1 Scope We are requesting a fixed-price quotation for the complete Phase 1 development. Your responsibility shall include: Electronic hardware design Schematic design Component selection 4-layer PCB layout Design for Manufacturing (DFM) Design for EMC Firmware development Production files (Gerber, Pick & Place, BOM, etc.) Prototype sourcing and ordering PCB assembly Firmware programming Hardware bring-up Functional verification according to the specification Delivery of fully assembled and tested prototypes The assignment shall be considered completed when we receive fully functional prototypes that comply with the attached specification. Required Experience We are looking for engineers with documented experience in: Industrial electronics Mixed-signal analog and digital PCB design 24 V industrial systems 4–20 mA current loop interfaces ARM Cortex-M microcontrollers Embedded firmware EMC-oriented PCB layout CE/EMC pre-compliance design Prototype manufacturing Production-ready hardware design Experience with industrial instrumentation or automation products is considered a significant advantage. Delivery The Phase 1 delivery shall include: Complete schematic Native CAD project (KiCad or Altium) PCB layout BOM including alternative components Gerber files Pick & Place files Firmware source code Compiled firmware Manufacturing documentation Fully assembled prototypes All prototypes programmed, tested and verified before shipment We expect the supplier to order and manage prototype manufacturing, perform programming and testing, and ship the finished prototypes to us. Schedule This project is time-critical. We are looking to start immediately and expect work to begin as soon as possible after supplier selection. Please include: Fixed project price Estimated delivery time Milestone schedule Number of engineers involved Similar industrial projects you have completed Preferred CAD system (KiCad or Altium) If Phase 1 is successful, there is a strong possibility of continued cooperation covering product refinement, production support, and future product variants.
