ABOUT THE ROLE We are looking for a highly organised and commercially aware Digital Designer to work closely with our in-house marketing and creative team at an exciting stage in the evolution of the Cambridge Audio brand. Working closely with the Head of Brand & Creative, this role will sit within our creative studio with a particular focus on eCommerce, Amazon, email, social and wider campaign touchpoints. From marketplace assets and campaign visuals through to email and social content, you will help shape how our products are marketed, positioned, experienced and understood across digital channels globally. This role is not purely about visual execution. We are looking for someone with a strong marketing mindset who understands how creative work influences customer behaviour, engagement and conversion. Someone who can combine refined aesthetics with commercial awareness and create digital assets that both elevate the brand and drive performance. You should be comfortable thinking beyond individual assets and understand how creative supports wider marketing objectives, product storytelling and retail performance across multiple customer touchpoints. This is a role for someone who combines strong visual taste with practical execution, clear communication and independent ownership. We are a growing business with ambitious goals and a lean creative team, so adaptability, initiative and organisational rigour are essential. You will work closely with Brand, Product, eCommerce and Sales teams to create commercially effective creative that remains elevated, design-led and unmistakably Cambridge Audio. WHAT GREAT LOOKS LIKE • Digital and marketplace creative that feels premium, consistent and commercially effective • Amazon and eCommerce assets that improve engagement, customer understanding and conversion • Campaign creative that supports wider marketing and commercial objectives • Strong understanding of how customers interact with digital retail environments • Reliable delivery across multiple projects without sacrificing quality or attention to detail • Well-organised systems and workflows that improve creative efficiency and consistency • Collaborative working relationships across Brand, Product, Sales and Marketing teams RESPONSIBILITIES eCommerce & Marketplace Creative • Create product imagery, infographics, A+ Content and storefront assets for Amazon listings across product launches, promotional campaigns and catalogue optimisation initiatives • Develop creative that balances premium brand presentation with strong commercial effectiveness and customer clarity • Support the ongoing optimisation and evolution of Cambridge Audio’s digital retail presence across UK and European marketplaces • Produce eBay listing imagery and promotional assets where required • Adapt and localise creative assets across multiple territories while maintaining consistency and creative quality Marketing & Campaign Creative • Design email campaigns that support product launches, promotional activity and wider brand storytelling • Create digital assets for social media, paid campaigns and broader marketing initiatives • Support integrated 360 campaigns across multiple channels and customer touchpoints • Contribute creative ideas and concepts during campaign planning, launches and internal reviews • Work closely with marketing stakeholders to ensure creative output aligns with campaign objectives and audience needs Commercial & Customer Thinking • Develop a strong understanding of customer behaviour within eCommerce and marketplace environments • Understand how creative decisions influence engagement, clarity, consideration and conversion • Work closely with Product Managers to develop a deep understanding of product positioning, features and key selling points • Help ensure digital creative communicates product value clearly and effectively across different audiences and channels Collaboration & Delivery • Collaborate closely with Brand, Product, Sales and Marketing teams to deliver high-quality creative aligned with commercial priorities • Maintain strong organisational standards across file management, design systems and workflow processes • Balance speed, consistency and attention to detail across a varied and fast-moving workload • Apply and uphold brand guidelines consistently across all formats and channels • Support the continual improvement of scalable creative systems and asset workflows REQUIREMENTS • Experience creating digital marketing and eCommerce assets for consumer brands, ideally within premium, lifestyle or technology sectors • Strong understanding of Amazon creative, eCommerce merchandising and digital marketing best practices • Strong understanding of how creative supports engagement, conversion and customer decision-making • Advanced proficiency in Figma • Excellent working knowledge of Adobe Creative Suite • Strong typography, layout and visual communication skills • Strong understanding of design systems and scalable creative workflows • Ability to manage multiple projects independently and prioritise effectively • Comfortable working cross-functionally with creative, product, commercial and marketing stakeholders • Excellent organisational and project management skills • Comfortable working autonomously in a remote environment while remaining collaborative and highly communicative • Strong attention to detail and commitment to thoughtful, polished execution • Interest in music, design, culture and technology would be advantageous • Open to exploring and responsibly using AI-powered creative and productivity tools where appropriate IDEAL PROFILE • Commercially minded as well as creatively driven • Strong understanding of premium brand presentation and customer perception • Organised, proactive and dependable • Comfortable taking ownership and working independently • Calm and solutions-focused under pressure • Collaborative and communicative in the way you work • Curious about culture, music, technology and evolving digital experiences • Motivated by creating work that is both creatively strong and commercially effective WORKING ARRANGEMENT We are looking for someone interested in building a long-term collaborative relationship with the brand. This is a fully remote and long-term freelance role with an expected commitment of 3–4 days per week on average. During key product launches, campaigns or busier periods, there may occasionally be opportunities for full-time engagement for short periods. There may occasionally be opportunities to visit the London HQ for team sessions, launches or planning meetings where appropriate.
