Digital Media Acquisition Researcher (Blogs, Newsletters & Independent Publications)

Suede & Signal is a modern publication for men who want to live with intention. We publish thoughtful articles on style, grooming, wellness, culture, relationships, and personal growth while promoting a healthier vision of modern masculinity. We're looking for an experienced researcher who enjoys digital detective work and can uncover high-quality independent publications (blogs, newsletters, websites, etc.) whose creators may no longer have the time or desire to maintain them. Some examples of evidence of this may be a blog that hasn't been updated in over a year and half, or a newsletter that has dwindled to only one publication every month or so. We're looking for quality, organization, and thoughtful analysis—not just a list of websites. This is an ongoing freelance position with room to grow. Responsibilities • Find and document dormant blogs, newsletters, and independent publications in the U.S. and Canada with contact information. • Focus on men's lifestyle, mental health, wellness, culture, travel, fashion, grooming, personal finance, and related topics. • Locate owners and log current and accurate contact information • Research SEO metrics and estimated traffic. • Evaluate whether a publication is a good strategic fit. • Organize all findings into a clean spreadsheet.
