Director of Marketing & Growth Strategy We are seeking a highly strategic and execution-focused marketing leader to help drive growth across two businesses: an AI consulting company and a managed IT services company. This role will own the development, execution, management, and measurement of all major marketing initiatives with a strong focus on ROI, accountability, and lead generation. This person must be both strategic and operational — capable of building marketing plans while also coordinating vendors, managing campaigns, tracking KPIs, and ensuring execution happens consistently. Key Responsibilities Event & Seminar Management * Build and manage a monthly event calendar including webinars, seminars, workshops, lunch & learns, and networking events. * Organize all logistics including venues, registrations, promotion, coordination, and follow-up. * Work with internal subject matter experts who provide content while owning the operational side of the events. Social Media & Content Marketing * Develop and execute social media strategies across LinkedIn, Facebook, Instagram, YouTube, TikTok, and other relevant platforms. * Manage both organic social media and paid advertising campaigns. * Build content calendars and oversee creation of graphics, videos, posts, and promotional materials. * Manage podcast strategy for our AI company including guest coordination, production oversight, content repurposing, and growth strategy. Marketing Strategy & KPI Management * Develop 30-60-90 day marketing plans with clear deliverables and measurable goals. * Track and report on KPIs including: * Cost per lead * Customer acquisition cost (CAC) * Website traffic * Social engagement * Qualified leads * Closed business * Campaign ROI * Build reporting systems and dashboards to measure all marketing spend and effectiveness. Vendor & Campaign Management * Manage all marketing vendors including SEO firms, cold calling vendors, PR firms, social media resources, advertising agencies, and freelancers. * Hire, manage, evaluate, and replace vendors as necessary. * Ensure all vendors operate with clear KPIs and accountability. Branding & Creative Direction * Help develop and maintain branding guidelines across both companies. * Coordinate creation of presentations, flyers, media assets, sales collateral, and campaign materials. * Ensure consistency in messaging and visual branding. Vertical Campaigns & Trade Shows * Develop targeted campaigns focused on specific industries and verticals. * Coordinate multi-channel marketing campaigns aligned to specific goals and timelines. * Research and manage trade show participation including travel, booth logistics, giveaways, and ROI tracking. SEO & PR * Oversee local SEO and organic search strategy for both businesses. * Help grow the AI company’s SEO presence from the ground up. * Develop PR opportunities including podcasts, awards, speaking engagements, local business recognition, and media placements. Referral & Strategic Relationship Programs * Build and manage referral programs for clients and referral partners. * Develop strategies to manage and strengthen relationships with top referral partners through personalized outreach, gifts, events, and ongoing engagement. * Track referral performance and ROI. Strategic Account-Based Marketing * Help identify top target accounts and ideal clients within each market. * Coordinate personalized outreach strategies including social engagement, gifting, relationship mapping, and targeted campaigns. Ideal Candidate * Strong experience in B2B marketing, demand generation, and growth strategy. * Experience managing events, vendors, campaigns, and marketing operations. * Strong understanding of social media, paid ads, SEO, branding, and lead generation. * Data-driven mindset with strong KPI and ROI focus. * Highly organized with excellent project management skills. * Experience in AI, technology, MSP, IT services, or professional services industries is a major plus. This role can be fractional, contract, or potentially evolve into a larger long-term leadership role depending on fit and results.
