Documentary Video Editor Needed – Premium Cinematic Storytelling

We’re looking for an experienced documentary editor to help bring The Doctors In to life. The Doctors In is a documentary series that goes beyond the white coat, following real doctors, real patients, and real conversations. Our first episode features an internationally recognized neurosurgeon and provides exclusive access to surgeries, patient journeys, family moments, and the human side of medicine. This is not a typical YouTube or social media project. We’re looking for an editor with a strong eye for cinematic storytelling, emotional pacing, sound design, and visual quality. Our goal is to create a polished documentary with the look and feel of today’s premium streaming documentaries. Responsibilities * Edit interviews, B-roll, and documentary footage into a compelling story. * Organize and refine the existing project as needed. * Create seamless pacing and emotional impact. * Perform professional audio editing and sound design. * Color correct and color grade footage. * Add titles and graphics where appropriate. * Collaborate with our production team throughout the editing process. Requirements * Documentary editing experience required. * Strong cinematic portfolio. * Proficiency in Adobe Premiere Pro, DaVinci Resolve, or Final Cut Pro. * Excellent storytelling, communication, and attention to detail. Project Details * Fixed Price: $1,000 * Footage is organized to some degree. * Creative direction and branding assets will be provided. * Firm delivery deadline: August 9. * Opportunity for future episodes and ongoing collaboration.
