Door-to-Door Sales Contractor Manager (Telecom/Broadband) Execution-Focused Leadership Needed We are a progressive broadband provider with an expanding FTTH footprint. We already understand our market, our sales model, and the challenges we need to solve. We are not looking for a strategist, consultant, or advisor. We are looking for someone who can recruit, manage, motivate, and drive accountability across a network of independent door-to-door sales contractors and produce measurable results. The Core Requirement Recruiting is the single most important responsibility in this role. The successful candidate must continuously identify, recruit, onboard, and develop new contractor talent while maintaining production and accountability across the contractor network. Success in this role requires building and maintaining a consistent pipeline of qualified contractor candidates while ensuring existing contractors remain productive, engaged, and focused on results. Responsibilities - Recruit and onboard independent sales contractors - Maintain an active pipeline of new contractor candidates at all times - Drive contractor productivity and retention - Conduct regular production reviews and performance coaching sessions - Track daily, weekly, and monthly sales activity - Coordinate territory assignments and deployment priorities - Quickly identify and address underperforming contractors - Provide concise reporting on activity, results, and staffing needs - Work closely with company leadership to execute established sales objectives What Success Looks Like in the First 90 Days - Build and maintain an active recruiting pipeline - Successfully onboard new contractors - Establish consistent reporting and accountability processes - Improve contractor productivity and territory coverage - Deliver measurable sales results within assigned markets Required Experience - Direct management of door-to-door sales teams or independent sales contractor organizations - Proven record of recruiting and retaining productive sales representatives - Experience holding salespeople accountable to activity and production metrics - Telecom, broadband, fiber, cable, wireless, or home services background strongly preferred - Strong organizational and follow-through skills - Ability to operate independently with minimal supervision Preferred Experience - Experience managing geographically distributed sales teams - Contractor network management experience - Experience with 1099 contractor compliance Success Metrics Candidates should be comfortable being measured on active contractor count, new contractor recruitment, contractor retention, sales production, territory coverage, and reporting accuracy and consistency.
