Summary

SQL Database— Downgrade Hyperscale to General Purpose within Azure environment. Our SQL data base is currently configured as Hyperscale HS_PRMS_12 (Premium-series, 12 vCores, Provisioned compute) in Australia East with Azure Hybrid Benefit disabled Based on the Data IO assessment the workload does not require Hyperscale-tier IOPS capacity. A migration to General Purpose (GP) tier would represent cost savings The task is to guide our inhouse coders to this migration.
