Workday Integrations Expert Integration Specialist – Finance & HR Systems Position Overview seeking an experienced Workday Integrations Expert to join our technical team. This role is critical for designing, developing, implementing, and maintaining complex enterprise integrations within Workday environments. The ideal candidate will have extensive expertise in Workday Studio, strong technical acumen across multiple integration modules, and the ability to communicate complex technical concepts clearly to both technical and business stakeholders. Experience in banking and/or plantation industry verticals is highly valued. Knowledge of emerging agentic AI capabilities and their application within Workday is a significant asset. Key Responsibilities • Design and develop enterprise integrations using Workday Studio, Extend, and Orchestrate • Configure and manage EIB (Enterprise Interface Builder) integrations for inbound and outbound data flows • Develop and maintain custom reports and advanced reports using Workday reporting tools • Create and troubleshoot XSLT transformations and XML schema validations • Architect and implement API integrations across multiple Workday modules • Debug and resolve complex integration issues using Studio tools and Process Monitor • Collaborate with business stakeholders to translate requirements into technical specifications • Provide technical documentation, training, and support for integration solutions Required Qualifications • 3+ years of hands-on experience with Workday integrations in finance and HR modules • Advanced proficiency in Workday Studio, including excellent understanding of integration development • Strong experience with Extend and Orchestrate technologies – critical requirement • Solid expertise in EIB (Enterprise Interface Builder) configuration and XML processing • Proficient with XSLT transformations and XML schema development • Working knowledge of Workday Web Services (WWS) and API integration patterns • Experience with custom reports and advanced reporting tools • Excellent understanding of Workday business objects and the overall Workday system landscape • Strong technical documentation and communication skills – ability to explain complex concepts clearly Required Certifications & Industry Experience • Workday Professional Services Certification (or equivalent Workday integration certification) • Demonstrated experience in banking sector Workday implementations, OR • Demonstrated experience in plantation/agricultural sector Workday implementations Preferred Qualifications • Multiple Workday certifications (Core, Financials, HCM, Integration specialization) • Experience in both banking AND plantation industry sectors • Experience with Workday Prism • Knowledge of multiple Workday Studio integration modules (EIB, Orchestrate, Extend, Web Services) • Advanced certifications in specialized Workday integration areas • Experience with agentic AI tools and AI agent frameworks in enterprise integration contexts Emerging Technology Competencies (Nice-to-Have) As Workday continues to integrate agentic AI capabilities into its platform, experience or demonstrated knowledge in the following areas is a plus: • Understanding of agentic AI concepts and autonomous workflow automation • Practical experience with AI agents in enterprise systems • Familiarity with Workday's agentic AI tools and roadmap • Knowledge of AI/ML integration patterns with Workday APIs • Experience designing integrations that leverage AI-driven decision-making • Forward-thinking approach to automation and AI-augmented process optimization Core Competencies • Technical Excellence: Advanced problem-solving and debugging capabilities • Communication: Highly articulate in both written and verbal communication • Business Acumen: Deep understanding of finance and HR business processes across industries • Attention to Detail: Meticulous approach to integration development and testing • Collaboration: Ability to work effectively with technical teams and business stakeholders • Continuous Learning: Commitment to staying current with Workday platform updates, emerging technologies, and best practices Resume Requirements Candidates should clearly document: • Specific Workday certifications held with dates of certification • Industry experience (banking sector will be a plus • Named examples of Extend and Orchestrate integrations developed • Quantifiable impact of integrations (data volumes, efficiency gains, cost savings) • References from previous implementations in target industry sectors • Any experience with AI/agentic AI implementations or emerging automation technologies
