Summary

We are developing a smart, medical-grade tabletop cooling and purification device ("Eco-Cube") targeting the healthcare sector. We require an experienced electronics/IoT engineer to build a rapid functional prototype ("works-like" core) using off-the-shelf components. The core feature is a remote "Dementia Lockout" toggle, where physical capacitive touch inputs on the device can be overridden and locked out via an external web interface or dashboard webhook. Scope of Work:Circuit Assembly & Wiring: Design and build a clean prototyping circuit board (perf-board or breadboard) integrating an ESP32 microcontroller with 12V high-power peripherals. Firmware Development: Implement an Arduino/C++ script (we have a functional base code ready to provide) that handles local climate data polling and processes external webhooks over Wi-Fi.Power Architecture: Safely step down 12V DC power to run the ESP32 while utilizing Logic-Level N-Channel MOSFETs (e.g., IRLB8721) to control a 12V blower fan and a mini 12V fluid pump. Flyback protection diodes must be included. Hardware Stack (Bill of Materials Provided):MCU: ESP32 (WROOM-32E)Peripherals: 12V Noctua PWM Blower Fan, 12V Submersible Brushless Water PumpSensors: DHT22 Temperature/Humidity Sensor, MPR121 Capacitive Touch Sensor, 0.96" I2C OLED DisplayPower: 12V 5A DC Wall Adapter + Step-down Buck Converter (LM2596) Deliverables:A fully functional, bench-tested, pre-wired electronics rig (shipped to us). You only build the electronics core; we will handle the final structural box assembly.100% clean, commented Arduino C++ source code (.ino files) with zero IP restrictions.A clear, basic schematic wiring diagram for our records.Requirements:Proven experience with ESP32 microcontrollers, Wi-Fi connectivity, and HTTP/MQTT protocols.Strong understanding of mechatronics, specifically driving 12V inductive motor/fan loads from 3.3V logic gates using MOSFETs. Ability to source the component list locally (we will fully reimburse component costs) and complete the bench build within 7–10 days
