## AI-assisted fact-checker / technical content editor We are looking for a detail-oriented editor to fact-check and improve business content about M&A, IPOs, fundraising, private equity, venture capital, virtual data rooms, and corporate governance. Your task will be to review articles for factual accuracy, precise wording, industry-standard terminology, technical correctness, outdated data, unsupported claims, and broken or weak sources. You will use ChatGPT as your primary AI tool to support the fact-checking process, but every AI suggestion must be manually reviewed before applying any changes. The goal is to flag and fix only critical issues — not rewrite the article unnecessarily. ### Main responsibilities * Fact-check articles using our AI-assisted prompt and manual review * Identify inaccurate, unclear, misleading, or unsupported claims * Check terminology, technical wording, syntax, and usage * Verify links, statistics, dates, sources, and competitor/product claims * Edit directly in Google Docs using Suggesting mode * Leave short comments explaining why each change was made * Preserve SEO keywords where possible, especially main keywords * Remove or rewrite secondary keywords only when they create factual or clarity issues ### Required output For each article, provide corrections only for critical mistakes using this structure: * Original: word, phrase, or sentence * Correction: revised version * Why: one short explanation If no changes are needed, write: “No changes needed.” ### Rates * Up to 1,000 words — $20 * 1,000–2,000 words — $30 * 2,000–3,000 words — $40 * 3,000–4,000 words — $50 ### Requirements The ideal candidate has strong attention to detail, good business English, experience with SEO content, and the ability to verify claims carefully rather than blindly accept AI suggestions. Experience with M&A, private equity, venture capital, IPOs, virtual data rooms, corporate governance, or B2B SaaS content is a strong plus.
