Summary

Texas-licensed Professional Engineer (PE) to design a lightning protection system for a steel structure located in Texas. Scope of work: Site/structure assessment (risk analysis per NFPA 780 and/or UL 96A as applicable) Design of a complete lightning protection system (air terminals, down conductors, grounding/bonding) for the structure Coordination with structural steel details for attachment points Stamped/sealed engineering drawings and calculations suitable for permitting Compliance with applicable Texas and local jurisdiction code requirements Requirements: Active PE license in the State of Texas Experience designing lightning protection systems for steel/industrial structures Familiarity with NFPA 780 and UL 96A standards Able to provide stamped drawings for permit submission Deliverables: Stamped lightning protection design drawings Supporting calculations/documentation Availability for questions during permitting/plan review
