AI Engineer / Claude Code Expert Needed for AI Automation & Agent Development

We are an eCommerce business looking for an experienced AI Engineer with strong expertise in Claude Code, AI agents, and LLM-based automation to help us build and improve AI-powered systems across our online store operations. Our goal is to leverage AI to automate workflows, improve efficiency, enhance customer experience, and scale our eCommerce operations. The ideal candidate should have hands-on experience with Claude Code, AI-assisted development, prompt engineering, API integrations, and building production-ready automation systems. Responsibilities Build and maintain AI-powered tools for eCommerce operations using Claude Code Develop AI agents to automate customer support, order handling, and internal workflows Design and optimize prompts for eCommerce use cases (support, sales, logistics) Integrate AI models with platforms like Shopify, WooCommerce, or custom systems Connect AI tools with APIs (shipping, CRM, helpdesk, payment systems) Improve and debug AI-generated outputs for accuracy and reliability Help design scalable AI architecture for eCommerce automation Document workflows and implementation best practices Work closely with our team to translate business needs into AI solutions Required Skills Proven experience with Claude Code Strong understanding of LLMs (Claude, OpenAI, or similar) Experience building AI agents or automation systems Strong Python, JavaScript, or TypeScript skills Experience with API integrations (eCommerce platforms preferred) Prompt engineering expertise Git/GitHub workflow experience Ability to troubleshoot and optimize AI outputs Nice to Have Experience with eCommerce platforms (Shopify, WooCommerce, etc.) MCP (Model Context Protocol) experience Knowledge of RAG systems and vector databases Experience with AI-powered customer support systems Workflow automation tools (Zapier, Make, n8n) Cloud deployment (AWS, GCP, or similar) Experience building autonomous AI agents for business operations Project Type Long-term collaboration preferred Part-time to full-time potential Ongoing AI automation development for eCommerce scaling
