English Language Competency Assessor (US)

About the Role Are you a native English speaker based in the United States with exceptional communication skills and a passion for helping others improve their spoken English? We are looking for confident, engaging, and articulate individuals to take part in simulated conversations and mock call sessions designed to enhance English communication skills in professional and business environments. Key Responsibilities Participate in live or recorded mock call sessions as a native English speaker from the US. Evaluate participants’ spoken English, including fluency, pronunciation, grammar, vocabulary, clarity, and overall communication effectiveness. Provide constructive, actionable, and detailed feedback to support ongoing language development. Help learners build confidence in both workplace and everyday communication scenarios. Demonstrate authentic US English communication styles, business etiquette, and conversational practices. Ideal Candidate Native English speaker currently residing in the United States . Strong verbal communication and active listening abilities. Capable of assessing spoken English objectively and identifying opportunities for improvement. Professional, encouraging, and supportive in providing feedback. Previous experience in teaching, coaching, training, customer service, language assessment, or similar communication-focused roles is desirable but not essential. Preferred Qualifications Experience in English language teaching, tutoring, coaching, assessment, or related fields. Familiarity with evaluating pronunciation, accent, fluency, and overall communication skills. Excellent interpersonal skills and a passion for helping others succeed.
