Online English - Hiring Tutors This is not a full-time job. Classes will be assigned to teachers who are available to teach. ■ Subjects Offered: - English: General English, Business English, and conversation practice ■ Student Age Groups: - Children: Ages 3 to 13 (English) - Adults: General English conversation and Business English ■ Time Zone: - GMT+9:00 (Korea Standard Time - Seoul) ■ Preferred Class Times: - Assigning time slots for teacher–client matching (available 24 hours a day) ■ Class Schedule: - Days: Monday to Friday - No classes on weekends ■ Teaching Format: - 1:1 Video Lessons ■ Platforms Used: -Google Meet -Google Classroom -Google Calendar -Google Drive -Google Sheets ■ Lesson Guidelines: -All classes will be recorded for student or parent review. Recorded videos will not be shared elsewhere. -A support manager will organize the schedule for teachers. Simply join the meetings scheduled on Google Calendar to conduct your classes. -After each lesson, mark attendance on the Google Drive attendance sheet. -Upload the attendance and recorded lesson videos to Google Classroom after the class. ■ Resources Provided: -Curriculum book -Teaching materials -Lesson customization based on the student’s needs -Math lesson aids and templates for various age groups ■ Benefits: -Upwork Fee Bonus: If you complete all assigned classes without any absences for a month, you will receive a 10% bonus on the Upwork service fee. ■ Fixed Terms: -Students can change their class schedule up to 1 hour before the lesson without losing the session. -Payment is made only for completed classes. Payment will be made on the 10th of the following month after the classes are completed. (If a student is absent, the class will be deducted, and payment will still be provided.) -No payment for canceled classes. (before 1 hour) -Ensure all classes are completed from the 1st to the end of each month. ■ Penalty for Unexcused Absences: If a teacher misses a scheduled class without providing at least 24 hours' prior notice or a valid reason (e.g., a documented medical emergency), a penalty will be imposed. ■ Fixed Hourly Rates: -Maximum of $6 per hour Rate Details Based on Experience: - 0-3 years experience: $3/hour - 3-5 years experience: $4/hour - 5+ years experience: $6/hour Note: These rates are fixed and non-negotiable.
