We're looking for an Enterprise Business Development Representative (BDR) to identify prospective customers, understand their business priorities, and generate qualified conversations with organizations exploring AI transformation. Position Overview The Enterprise Business Development Representative is responsible for building the front end of Performance AI's enterprise sales pipeline. This role combines strategic account identification, executive prospecting, and personalized outbound communication to generate qualified discovery meetings with senior decision-makers. Success is measured by meaningful conversations, qualified opportunities, and consistent pipeline growth rather than high-volume outreach. You will work closely with leadership to identify target accounts, develop outreach strategies, and generate opportunities that support long-term business growth. Key Responsibilities Target Account Research Identify organizations that align with Performance AI's ideal customer profile. Understand key decision-makers, business priorities, strategic initiatives, and organizational challenges. Build and maintain high-quality target account lists using company-provided tools and independent research. Expand and refine prospect databases to support long-term pipeline development. Executive Outreach Develop personalized outreach that demonstrates an understanding of each organization's priorities and business challenges. Execute outbound prospecting through email, LinkedIn, phone, and other appropriate channels. Test and refine messaging to increase engagement and response rates. Conduct disciplined follow-up until a clear outcome is reached. Schedule qualified discovery meetings with senior decision-makers. Pipeline Development Build and maintain a healthy pipeline of qualified enterprise opportunities. Ensure prospective customers align with Performance AI's ideal customer profile before scheduling meetings. Document meaningful account intelligence that supports successful discovery conversations. Identify trends and insights that strengthen targeting and outreach strategies. Sales Operations & Collaboration Maintain accurate CRM records, outreach activity, and prospect notes. Track outreach performance, response rates, and meeting conversion metrics. Utilize AI tools to accelerate research, increase productivity, and enhance personalization while maintaining authentic communication. Partner closely with leadership to prioritize target accounts and industries. Share market insights gathered through prospect conversations. Contribute ideas that strengthen outreach effectiveness, messaging, and pipeline generation. Success Measures Success in this role will be measured by: Booking an average of 10 qualified discovery meetings per week. Building a consistent pipeline of qualified enterprise opportunities. Maintaining accurate and organized CRM records. Increasing outreach response and meeting conversion rates. Delivering relevant, personalized engagement with prospective customers. Continuously refining outbound messaging through testing and iteration. Required Qualifications 3-5 years of experience in Business Development, Sales Development, Lead Generation, or B2B outbound sales. Exceptional written and verbal communication skills. Strong prospecting, analytical, and organizational abilities. Experience conducting outbound prospecting through email, phone, LinkedIn, and similar channels. Excellent attention to detail with exceptional follow-through. Comfortable communicating with senior business leaders. Self-motivated, proactive, and results-oriented. Ability to quickly understand business challenges across multiple industries. Comfortable learning AI-powered products and communicating technical concepts in business-friendly language. Ability to use AI tools to accelerate content creation while producing authentic, original, and audience-appropriate communication that reflects Performance AI's voice and standards. Proficient in Google Workspace, Microsoft Office, CRM platforms, LinkedIn Sales Navigator, Apollo, and similar prospecting tools. Preferred Qualifications Experience selling enterprise software, SaaS, AI, consulting, or technology solutions. Experience supporting enterprise or consultative sales cycles. Experience working in a startup or high-growth environment. Familiarity with consultative or solution-based selling methodologies. Experience using AI tools such as ChatGPT or similar technologies to improve research and productivity. What We're Looking For Technical skills can be developed.
