Operations Manager/ Executive Assistant to Founder/CEO T-Shirt & Hoodies Brand + Hotel/Guest House Project Location: Lagos, Nigeria | Hybrid/Remote with on-site as needed About the Role We’re a growing streetwear brand + hospitality business looking for a smart, reliable, personable Operations Manager/Executive Assistant to help us scale without chaos. You’ll be the Founder’s right hand: keeping operations tight, costs tracked, and brand voice on-point. Because our brand identity is faith-based, a practicing Christian is preferred for brand alignment and values fit. Key Responsibilities Brand & Supply Chain Support - T-shirt/Hoodies Business Source and engage suppliers: factories, screen printers, fabric vendors, packaging Negotiate pricing, MOQs, lead times, and payment terms Track sample orders, QC checks, production timelines Support sales & marketing + social media: content calendar, + Shopify account management + posting, community engagement, basic Canva graphics, influencer outreach Finance & Project Tracking - Hotel/Guest House Build Track all project spending vs budget in Excel/Google Sheets Log invoices, receipts, contractor payments. Prepare simple weekly spend reports + variance analysis for Founder Basic bookkeeping: categorize expenses, maintain payment schedules Executive Support & Operations Calendar management: meetings, travel, deadlines. Protect Founder’s time, focus and resources Prepare briefs, agendas, meeting notes, follow-up action lists Research: market trends, competitor pricing, supplier options as needed Must-Have Skills & Qualities Excel/Google Sheets: VLOOKUP, pivot tables, basic formulas for budgets/spend tracking/ PowerPoint Accounting basics: Understand invoices, POs, receipts, budget vs actual Negotiation + communication: Confident calling suppliers, email etiquette, WhatsApp professional Social media savvy: Instagram/TikTok/Meta native. Can schedule posts, engage comments, spot trends Organization: Calendar mastery, file management, can juggle brand + hotel workstreams Tech tools: Canva, Notion/Google Drive, WhatsApp Business, basic email marketing tools Character: Smart, reliable, proactive, discreet, personable, teachable. Takes feedback well Superstar EA “Nice-to-Have” Skills To move from good EA → indispensable EA, these set you apart: Anticipation: You see what Founder needs before they ask. “I already booked 3 supplier options + cost sheet” Data sense: Can spot spending leaks in hotel budget or low-ROI ad spend in brand Writing: Clear emails, brand captions, WhatsApp messages that sound like the Founder Problem-solving: Supplier delayed? You already have Plan B + cost comparison Project management: Use Trello/Asana/Notion to keep production + construction tasks on track Discretion: Handles sensitive business/financial info with integrity Faith alignment: Christian values help with brand storytelling, partnerships, and culture fit Requirements 2+ years EA/Admin/Accounting + Operations experience. Startup/brand experience is a plus Degree in Business, Accounting, Marketing, or related field Own laptop + reliable internet Practicing Christian - this matters for brand management + values alignment
