Executive Brand Assistant — Family & Lifestyle Brand (Research, Social, Submissions)
Worldwide
I’m a mom building a family and lifestyle brand, and I’m looking for a sharp, proactive right hand who can take my vision and run with it. I don’t need someone who just talks about the work. I need someone who executes it. The brand has three connected pieces: my son’s presence with legitimate family and kids brands, my own lifestyle content as a mom, and a future premium apparel line. You’ll help move all three forward while keeping everything organized, on deadline, and protected. A huge part of this role is accountability. I move fast and juggle a lot, so I need someone who keeps me and our deliverables on track, tells me what needs to happen by when, and follows through without being chased. What you’ll do: Brand research and submission prep, safety first • Research and identify legitimate family, baby, and kids brands, ambassador programs, and reputable feature or submission opportunities (think Huggies, Pampers, Millie Moon, Gerber, and others you uncover). We’ve already been featured in a few, so we’re building momentum. • Organize the materials each opportunity needs, including requirements, deadlines, and application details, and pass them to me for final review. I personally handle and approve everything involving my child. • Vet every opportunity for legitimacy and safety. Read the fine print, understand image and likeness rights, and flag anything that feels off before it moves forward. • Protect my child’s privacy at all times. He is featured selectively and tastefully, present but never overexposed. Good judgment here is non-negotiable. Social media and email growth • Help plan, schedule, and organize content for a mom-and-baby lifestyle presence across platforms. • Bring a point of view. Content should give people real value, teaching and inspiring, not posting just to post. • Research trends and hooks, and help grow an email list for long-term reach that doesn’t depend on the algorithm. Event and vendor coordination • Keep a planning tracker for upcoming events on the calendar, including a family celebration, and source, compare, and coordinate multiple vendors from start to finish. Sourcing and growth • Research and vet suppliers, manufacturers, and clothing vendors for a future premium apparel line built around elevated staple bottoms (leggings, joggers, denim) for stylish moms, with unisex potential. • Identify partnership, affiliate, and business development opportunities, and help source and vet additional freelancers when we need extra hands. Operations and communication • Log completed tasks and post daily updates in our team dashboard. • Communicate progress, roadblocks, and recommendations proactively. • Coordinate smoothly with my existing executive assistant. Clean handoffs and teamwork matter. You’re a great fit if you: • Take direction and run with it. You can turn a quick voice note or a messy idea into a finished, organized deliverable without hand-holding. • Are a relentless researcher who digs past the obvious and spots a scam a mile away. • Move fast and show real progress in the first week. • Communicate clearly and hold both yourself and me accountable. • Have real social media instincts, ideally with brand, creator, or e-commerce experience. • Treat protecting a child’s image and our family’s privacy as a top priority. A few important notes: • Family privacy and safety come first. Every opportunity is vetted before it’s presented to me. • Selected candidates may be asked to sign a confidentiality agreement (NDA). • This is an ongoing, treat-it-like-a-real-job relationship with room to grow into a lead or full-time role. To apply: • Start your message with the word BLUEPRINT so I know you read this all the way through. • Share two or three relevant examples and the results you got. • Then answer the screening questions. Screening questions: 1. Walk me through exactly how you’d find and vet five legitimate family or kids brands accepting submissions or ambassadors this week. How do you spot a scam or an unsafe opportunity? 2. I send you a three-minute voice note with a messy mix of ideas. How do you turn that into an organized plan and finished deliverables? 3. Share one example of social media, research, or brand-support work you’ve done, and the measurable result. 4. What tools do you use to track tasks, hit deadlines, and report progress daily? 5. How do you protect a young child’s privacy and safety when building a family brand online?
