Expert Curriculum Architect for Grade 3-8 Review

We build systems that generate complete standards-aligned curricula — scope-and-sequence through units, lessons, and assessments, with automated coverage and coherence verification. The Project: Read a confidential architecture document describing how the system turns a scope-and-sequence into a full program — standards coverage, cross-unit coherence, assessment design, review and adoption documentation. Deliver (1) a detailed teardown: flawed assumptions, missing components, and every place the design contradicts how real programs are built, reviewed (EdReports, state adoption), and bought; (2) a 60–90 minute call to defend it. We are paying for disagreement — a review that says "looks great" is a failed deliverable. Who we need: a curriculum architect whose home turf is grades 3–8 (tell us your exact band), with a lead role on a full published program — publisher (Amplify, HMH, Great Minds tier) or serious OER (OpenSciEd, Illustrative Mathematics, EL Education, Open Up) — including hands-on scope-and-sequence construction, assessment blueprint work, and direct EdReports or state-adoption experience. Programs shipped: name · publisher/org · subject · grade band · your role · years EdReports reviews or state adoption cycles you worked on, and in what capacity Classroom/district experience: roles and years (e.g., taught grade 6 ELA 5 yrs; district C&I 3 yrs) Grade band(s) and subject(s) you consider your true expertise — and the ones you'd decline to review Current status (fractional/consulting/FT) and availability over the next 3 weeks Not a fit: lesson-plan writing, tutoring, or instructional design without a shipped program. Generic or AI-written answers to the screening questions are auto-declined — we will know.
