We are seeking a knowledgeable historian, meticulous researcher, and captivating storyteller for our History YouTube channel. Our channel delves into a range of provocative and lesser-known subjects, including slavery, modern war crimes, World War atrocities, and other unconventional topics. We aim for our scripts to present these themes from an unbiased, neutral perspective, avoiding personal inclinations. Please don't use AI to write, it tends to hallucinate a lot and its verbatim is dull and obvious. It can be used to research, but I need independent research on the topics as well. Each script should be at least 2000-2500 words, contributing to an ongoing project with a requirement of 2-3 scripts/week. We offer $70 per script. Ideal candidates should possess the following attributes: 1. A passion for history and storytelling, capable of making historical content engaging and accessible. 2. A commitment to accurate, academic research and a balanced presentation of events. 3. Strong command of English grammar. 4. Skilled in crafting compelling narratives that hold the audience’s interest. 5. Experience in research-intensive writing, preferably with a background in content creation for YouTube. 6. Ability to provide a comprehensive reference list with each script. Chosen candidates will be asked to write a sample script, which will be fully compensated.
