Finance Manager for E-commerce Business Analysis

We are an expanding e-commerce company, seeking a finance manager to establish & strengthen our finance function. The ideal candidate will build scalable financial systems. The role also involves creating dashboards and providing insights related to our online business operations. He/she should have experience in financial reporting and data analysis, with a strong understanding of financial metrics and KPIs. Key Responsibilities • Design reliable daily, weekly, monthly, and year-to-date profit & loss reporting. • Develop dynamic dashboards that provide real-time visibility into profitability, cash flow, inventory, and other critical business metrics. • Build automated cost accounting models to accurately track COGS, incorporating product costs, supplier pricing, freight, fulfilment expenses, and payment processing fees. • Reconcile Amazon, Meesho, Flipkart & Shopify payments, including payouts, pending balances, reserves, withheld funds, and payment discrepancies. • Implement AI-enabled workflows and automation solutions that minimize manual effort and enhance financial reporting. • Deliver actionable financial insights and strategic recommendations to improve profitability, optimize cash flow, and support business growth. Technical Skills • Strong capability in AI-assisted software development and workflow automation. • Experience developing custom finance applications, reporting systems, and executive dashboards. • Advanced proficiency in Microsoft Excel and Google Sheets. • Candidates should be comfortable using AI tools to build scalable financial systems rather than relying primarily on manual spreadsheet processes. Preferred Experience • Previous experience as a Head of Finance, Finance Manager, or in a similar leadership role. • Extensive exposure to e-commerce businesses. • Strong understanding of e-commerce financial reporting, including P&L management and unit economics. • Experience working with ERP platforms and financial systems. • Demonstrated experience creating executive-level dashboards with live financial data and business KPIs.
