# Financial Modeling Expert (Short-Term Consulting Project) ### Project Overview We are seeking an experienced Financial Modeling Expert for a short-term consulting engagement. The selected professional will review, validate, and enhance an existing financial model that has already been developed. The project involves restructuring and updating the model to align with revised client requirements, assumptions, and business scenarios. ### Key Responsibilities * Review and understand the existing financial model structure, assumptions, and outputs. * Identify gaps between the current model and the client's revised requirements. * Rework and optimize model architecture, calculations, and forecasting methodologies. * Update financial assumptions, revenue drivers, cost structures, and scenario analyses. * Conduct sensitivity analysis and stress testing where required. * Ensure model accuracy, transparency, auditability, and best-practice financial modeling standards. * Prepare documentation explaining key assumptions, formulas, and model logic. * Participate in review discussions with the project team and address feedback promptly. ### Required Qualifications * Proven experience in advanced financial modeling, valuation, and forecasting. * Strong expertise in Microsoft Excel (advanced formulas, dashboards, scenario modeling, VBA is a plus). * Experience reviewing and improving existing financial models rather than building from scratch. * Ability to quickly understand complex business cases and translate revised requirements into robust financial frameworks. * Strong analytical and problem-solving skills. * Excellent communication and documentation abilities. ### Preferred Experience * Corporate finance, investment banking, private equity, venture capital, infrastructure, energy, manufacturing, technology, or consulting project experience. * Experience with DCF, project finance, business valuation, scenario analysis, and investment appraisal models. * CFA, CA, MBA (Finance), FMVA, or equivalent qualifications preferred. ### Engagement Details * Project Type: Short-Term Consulting Assignment * Duration: Approximately 1–3 weeks (depending on scope) * Work Mode: Remote * Start Date: Immediate * Compensation: Competitive, based on experience and expertise ### Application Requirements Interested candidates should share: 1.
