Financial Operations & Commission Reconciliation Analyst (Part-Time)

MedBlue is seeking a detail-oriented Financial Operations & Commission Reconciliation Analyst to help ensure the accuracy of member subscriptions, agent commissions, broker payments, and overall revenue reporting. This role is responsible for auditing financial transactions, reconciling data across multiple systems, identifying discrepancies, and providing ongoing monitoring of financial performance. The ideal candidate has strong experience in financial analysis, auditing, data reconciliation, commission calculations, and reporting. This is a remote, part-time position requiring approximately 10-15 hours per week. Key Responsibilities - Revenue & Subscription Monitoring - Review and reconcile member subscription payments across all systems. - Verify successful payment processing and identify failed, refunded, or duplicate transactions. - Monitor recurring billing activity and investigate payment discrepancies. - Validate monthly revenue reports and ensure accuracy. - Commission Reconciliation - Audit agent commission calculations and payments. - Verify commission eligibility based on membership status and payment history. - Reconcile commission reports against actual member payments. - Identify overpayments, underpayments, and calculation errors. - Ensure broker and FMO payments are accurate and properly documented. - Financial Analysis & Reporting - Run weekly and monthly financial reports. - Analyze trends, discrepancies, and unusual activity. - Develop reconciliation reports showing findings, corrections, and recommendations. - Track outstanding issues through resolution. - Systems Management Work within: - Finix - ERP System - GoHighLevel - Membership Platform - CRM and Reporting Tools - Reconcile data across all systems to ensure consistency and accuracy. - Validate integrations and data flow between platforms. - Audit & Quality Control - Establish ongoing financial audit procedures. - Create reconciliation checklists and standard operating procedures. - Maintain documentation supporting all adjustments and corrections. - Recommend process improvements to reduce financial errors. Required Qualifications - 3+ years of experience in accounting, auditing, financial analysis, bookkeeping, or revenue operations. - Strong experience with financial reconciliations. - Advanced Microsoft Excel or Google Sheets skills. - Experience working with recurring subscription businesses. - Strong analytical and problem-solving skills. - Ability to identify financial discrepancies and investigate root causes. - Excellent attention to detail. Preferred Qualifications - Experience with commission-based compensation programs. - Experience with CRM and payment platforms. - Experience with Finix, GoHighLevel, QuickBooks, NetSuite, or similar systems. - Experience in healthcare, insurance, membership, SaaS, or subscription businesses. Deliverables The selected candidate will provide: Weekly - Commission reconciliation report. - Revenue reconciliation report. - List of discrepancies identified. - Recommended corrections. - Status of open issues. Monthly - Complete audit of member subscriptions. - Complete audit of agent commissions. - Complete audit of broker/FMO payments. - Revenue summary and variance analysis. - Executive summary of findings. Time Commitment - 10–15 hours per week - Remote - Flexible schedule - Long-term engagement preferred Success Metrics - Accurate reconciliation of all member revenue. - Accurate commission calculations and payments. - Timely identification of discrepancies. - Reduction in payment and reporting errors. - Consistent delivery of weekly and monthly financial reporting.
