Financial Planning Analyst (U.S. Wealth Management) Position Summary We are seeking a detail-oriented Financial Planning Analyst to support U.S.-based financial advisors through back-office financial planning and analysis. This role is responsible for preparing financial analyses, planning deliverables, and client presentation materials that enable advisors to provide exceptional financial planning services. This is a non-client-facing role focused on producing accurate, high-quality financial planning work for both prospective and existing clients. Location: Remote (Offshore – India or Philippines preferred) Schedule: U.S. business hours with required overlap Key Responsibilities Prepare retirement projections, cash flow analyses, and net worth statements. Develop financial planning models and supporting analyses. Gather, organize, validate, and analyze client financial information. Prepare financial planning reports, review materials, and presentation collateral. Assist with retirement, investment, insurance, tax, estate, and education planning analyses. Update financial plans based on changing client circumstances. Draft planning observations and supporting documentation for advisor review. Maintain organized client files and planning documentation. Support advisors with prospective client analyses and planning deliverables. Manage multiple planning engagements while meeting quality and turnaround expectations. Qualifications Required Bachelor's degree in Finance, Accounting, Economics, Business, or a related field. 3+ years supporting U.S.-based financial advisors, RIAs, wealth management firms, family offices, or financial planning practices. Strong understanding of U.S. personal financial planning concepts. Advanced Microsoft Excel skills. Excellent analytical, organizational, and problem-solving abilities. Exceptional attention to detail. Strong written English communication skills. Reliable personal computer and internet connection to log into a secure digital environment. Preferred Experience with financial planning software such as eMoney, RightCapital, or MoneyGuidePro. Experience supporting CFP® professionals. CFP®, ChFC®, CFA, or progress toward one of these designations. Success Profile The ideal candidate enjoys working behind the scenes to produce accurate, polished financial planning analyses that allow advisors to focus on client relationships.
