Number of Positions Available: 4–6 About The Project We are hiring multiple highly organized accounting and bookkeeping specialists to help reconstruct and organize financial records from 2019 through 2026. This is NOT a standard bookkeeping job. The purpose of this project is to review bank statements, credit card statements, accounting records, transaction exports, QuickBooks files, receipts, invoices, payment processors, and financial records to create a complete historical financial database. The selected candidates will work one month at a time and one year at a time. Nothing will be finalized without approval. Each completed section will be reviewed before the next section begins. Requirements • Strong QuickBooks experience • Bookkeeping experience • Bank reconciliation experience • Excellent spreadsheet skills • Strong attention to detail • Ability to review thousands of transactions • Ability to identify missing information • Ability to document unusual transactions • Comfortable signing an NDA • Reliable internet and computer Preferred Experience • QuickBooks Online • Xero • Forensic accounting • Tax preparation support • Financial audits • E-commerce bookkeeping • Influencer or creator businesses • Large transaction volume businesses Primary Responsibilities Review and categorize: • Bank accounts • Credit cards • PayPal • Venmo • Cash App • Stripe • YouTube income • Facebook income • Sponsorship income • Affiliate income • Crypto-related transactions • Business expenses • Contractor payments • Personal transfers • Loans • Refunds • Chargebacks • Vehicle expenses • Travel expenses • Equipment purchases • Home-related expenses • Professional services Project Structure Each specialist may be assigned: • A specific year • A specific account • A specific transaction category • A specific reconstruction project Examples: Specialist A: 2019 records Specialist B: 2020 records Specialist C: 2021 records Specialist D: 2022 records Specialist E: 2023–2024 records Specialist F: 2025–2026 records Every assignment will be independently reviewed. Deliverables Required For every month reviewed: 1. Categorized transaction report 2. Reconciliation report 3. List of uncategorized transactions 4. List of questionable transactions 5. List of transfers 6. List of potential duplicate transactions 7. Notes explaining decisions 8. Supporting documentation references Special Category Report Every specialist must create a separate report showing: • Transactions that do not fit existing categories • Transactions requiring clarification • Missing documentation • Potential duplicates • Potential personal transactions • Unknown transfers • Unknown deposits • Unidentified payments Nothing should be guessed. If uncertain, flag the transaction for review. Approval Process Work will be completed: Month by month Year by year Approval by approval No assumptions. No forced categorization. No guessing. If documentation is missing, flag it. If information is unclear, flag it. The objective is accuracy and organization.
