Fire Protection/ California PE

California Fire Protection Engineer (PE) – Design & Stamping We are looking for a California-licensed Professional Engineer (PE) with fire protection expertise to provide complete fire protection engineering design and professional stamping for a 10,000 SF commercial facility in California. Scope of Work The selected engineer will be responsible for: • Complete fire protection engineering design for the project • Review architectural and relevant MEP drawings and project requirements • Develop fire protection plans, calculations, and design documentation as required • Design fire protection systems in accordance with applicable California codes and NFPA standards • Coordinate the fire protection design with architectural, mechanical, electrical, and plumbing • Address AHJ/code requirements and incorporate necessary revisions • Provide California PE stamp and seal on the final design documents • Support responses to plan-check comments, if required Ideal Candidate We are specifically looking for someone who: • Holds an active California PE license • Has demonstrated experience in fire protection engineering • Is experienced with NFPA standards and California building/fire codes • Has experience designing fire protection systems for commercial, industrial, hospitality, winery, or similar projects • Can independently review the project, identify requirements, and develop a complete design • Has experience working with California AHJs and plan-check requirements • Can provide professional engineering stamping for the final documents Please include the following with your proposal: 1.
