Fire Sprinkler Design Engineer

We are seeking an experienced Fire Sprinkler Design Engineer / Designer to work as an independent contractor on a project-by-project basis. Responsibilities include designing fire sprinkler systems, performing hydraulic calculations, reviewing architectural and mechanical drawings, preparing material take-offs and project estimates, and providing technical design support. The role also involves coordinating with contractors and installers, reviewing NFPA 13 and applicable codes, and professionally sealing/stamping engineering drawings and calculations. Candidates should have strong experience in fire sprinkler design, estimating, and layout work, with proficiency in AutoCAD, Revit, HydraCAD, or equivalent. P.Eng. designation or authorization to stamp engineering documents is preferred. This is a project-based role based in British Columbia.
