Firmware Engineer: RS-232 Serial Integration Script for Legacy Machine

We are a large-scale commercial operator based in Europe, managing a significant fleet of automated hardware. We are currently upgrading our internal telemetry and require an experienced firmware engineer to provide a precise RS-232 hexadecimal communication script/matrix for legacy Jofemar machine control. Our internal technicians are programming a custom controller and require the exact hex command strings to execute basic motor spins and read machine status via the RS-232 serial line. Project Deliverables: A comprehensive script or mapped matrix detailing the exact hex commands required to interface with the hardware (motor activation, status polling, error codes). Clear documentation on the command-and-response sequence for these specific serial lines. Required Qualifications: Deep expertise in bare-metal serial communication, specifically RS-232 and legacy X10 protocols. You must already possess the requisite knowledge and technical mapping to provide this matrix immediately upon contract start. We are not funding extended research, discovery, or app development phases. Proposal Requirement (Crucial Filter): To demonstrate your specific expertise with this exact hardware protocol, your proposal MUST include a single valid Hex command string (e.g., a basic status request or polling command). Generic proposals that do not include a sample hex string will be automatically declined. We do not need web developers; we need bare-metal protocol experts. Acceptance Criteria: Funds will be fully secured in Escrow. Release of the fixed-price payment is contingent strictly upon our internal engineering team running a live-fire test on our physical warehouse machines to verify the provided hex matrix successfully executes a motor command.
