We are seeking an experienced trainer to deliver a 4-day hands-on training session in Kenya. The training will focus on ForeScout CounterACT and Forescout Administrator, covering key features and best practices. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in network security and experience with ForeScout products. The training will be conducted onsite, and the trainer should be prepared to provide comprehensive guidance and support to participants. **Job Title:** ForeScout CounterACT / Forescout Administrator Onsite Trainer Required in Kenya for 4-Day Hands-On Training **Job Description:** We are looking for an experienced **ForeScout / Forescout CounterACT Administrator trainer** to conduct a **4-day onsite technical training program in Kenya**. The training will be delivered to **6 experienced technical experts** and must be highly practical, lab-focused, and aligned with ForeScout Administrator / FSCA-style training concepts. The trainer should be capable of covering both theoretical architecture and hands-on operational administration of ForeScout CounterACT / Forescout platform components. **Training Scope:** The trainer should be able to cover the following topics in detail: **Day 1: Introduction, Architecture, Installation, and Console Overview** * Introduction to ForeScout / Forescout platform concepts * Network Access Control fundamentals * ForeScout CounterACT architecture and major components * Key terms such as plugin, segment, channel, organizational unit, appliance, endpoint, and host properties * Installation and initial configuration concepts * Switch connectivity and network integration basics * Active Directory integration basics * Account management and administrative access * Console overview, navigation, and key operational areas * Hands-on lab for initial configuration and console familiarization **Day 2: Configuration, Deployment, Policy Overview, and Asset Classification** * CounterACT configuration after initial setup * Plugin configuration and management * Channel and segment configuration * Host Property Scanner overview * Switch Observe and network visibility concepts * Deployment planning and rollout approach * Layer 2 versus Layer 3 deployment considerations * Appliance placement and network integration best practices * Policy creation fundamentals * Policy logic, conditions, actions, and enforcement workflow * Asset classification using ForeScout policies * Hands-on lab for configuration, deployment planning, policy creation, and classification **Day 3: Clarification, Compliance, Control, and Host Management** * Identifying endpoint management capabilities * Clarification groups and host visibility * Compliance posture creation for endpoints and network assets * Endpoint compliance checks * Network control using VLAN assignment and ACLs * Guest registration concepts * DNS enforcement concepts * ActiveResponse concepts * Windows, Linux, and network endpoint management * Backup, update, and appliance housekeeping activities * Hands-on lab for compliance policies, control actions, and host management **Day 4: Administration, Inventory, Reporting, Dashboard, and Troubleshooting** * CounterACT appliance administration * Enterprise Manager administration concepts * Console user management * Inventory and asset management * Assets portal overview * Reporting and dashboard creation * Operational monitoring workflows * Common troubleshooting methods * Troubleshooting deployment, policy, endpoint, network, and integration issues * Final practical lab and knowledge review * Optional FSCA certification readiness discussion **Lab Requirement:** The trainer must provide or help set up an optimized hands-on lab environment in Kenya for the training.
