# Fractional Business Development Partner (Commission Only) | B2B Growth & Corporate Solutions ## Overview We are seeking an experienced B2B Business Development Partner to help drive growth for a business transformation and capability-building firm. This is a performance-based opportunity for professionals who are confident in their ability to identify opportunities, engage decision-makers, build relationships, and close business. Compensation is entirely success-based. There is no fixed retainer, hourly rate, or upfront payment. Instead, compensation is based on a commission of 2%–5% of successfully closed business, depending on deal size, complexity, and level of involvement throughout the sales cycle. Our aspiration is to build a next-generation advisory firm that combines strategic thinking, execution expertise, capability development, and modern business transformation practices to help organizations grow, transform, and perform at their highest potential. ## Responsibilities • Identify and pursue B2B opportunities within target organizations • Engage decision-makers and senior stakeholders • Build and nurture relationships with business leaders, transformation leaders, HR leaders, L&D leaders, operations leaders, and executives • Conduct discovery conversations and identify business needs • Work collaboratively with our team on solution positioning and proposal development • Manage opportunities through the sales cycle to successful closure • Provide visibility into pipeline progress and opportunity status ## Compensation & Long-Term Opportunity This is a commission-only engagement. Compensation ranges from 2%–5% of successfully closed business, depending on deal size, complexity, and level of involvement. At this stage, we are seeking a sales partner who is comfortable growing alongside the business and sharing in its success. We view this as a long-term opportunity. As the relationship matures, the pipeline develops, and results are demonstrated, compensation structures may be reviewed and enhanced to reflect mutual growth and contribution. There is no cap on earnings, and exceptional performance may lead to a broader strategic role within the firm's growth journey. ## Required Experience Please apply only if you have demonstrable experience selling B2B services, consulting, professional services, corporate solutions, executive education, transformation services, technology services, or similar offerings. In your proposal, please include: 1. Examples of B2B deals you have personally sold 2. Typical deal values you have closed 3. Industries you have sold into 4. Types of decision-makers you typically engage 5. Quantified sales achievements from previous engagements, including: * Revenue generated * Largest deal closed * Annual contract values sold * Number of enterprise or corporate clients acquired * Pipeline generated and converted 6. Your preferred sales approach and market focus 7. What is the largest B2B deal you have personally sourced and closed? Please include deal value, industry, your role in the sale, and the approximate sales cycle length. ## Ideal Candidate We are looking for someone who: • Has a proven history of closing B2B opportunities • Understands consultative and relationship-driven sales • Is comfortable engaging senior stakeholders and decision-makers • Can work independently and proactively • Thinks strategically rather than transactionally • Values trust, professionalism, and long-term partnerships • Is motivated by performance-based rewards and business growth We are particularly interested in professionals who want to help build a growing advisory business over the long term and contribute meaningfully to its growth journey.
