Seeking an experienced Fractional CFO / Controller to support our growing real estate, construction, and investment platform. This is a senior financial leadership role for someone who can operate strategically while also managing the details. We need a hands-on finance professional who understands real estate development, construction finance, startup growth, and investor relations. Key Responsibilities The Fractional CFO / Controller will be responsible for: Financial strategy, budgeting, forecasting, and cash flow management Real estate and construction project budgeting, cost tracking, and draw oversight Development of financial models, pro formas, dashboards, and reporting tools Monthly financial reporting, accounting oversight, reconciliations, and internal controls Investor relations support, including funding updates, board materials, and due diligence requests Coordination with bookkeepers, accountants, tax advisors, lenders, attorneys, and outside consultants Establishing financial discipline and scalable processes for a growth-stage company Required Experience Candidates must have strong experience in: Real estate finance, development, acquisitions, or asset management Construction accounting, project budgets, draws, and cost controls Startup or growth-stage company finance Investor relations, lender communications, or capital raising support Financial modeling, forecasting, budgeting, and reporting Controller-level accounting and CFO-level financial leadership Qualifications 10+ years of financial leadership experience preferred Background in accounting, finance, real estate, business, or related field CPA, MBA, or prior CFO / Controller experience preferred Strong Excel, financial modeling, accounting systems, and reporting skills Ability to work independently in a fast-moving entrepreneurial environment Ideal Candidate The ideal candidate is practical, detail-oriented, financially disciplined, and comfortable working with founders, investors, lenders, developers, and contractors. This person should bring structure, accountability, and clear financial guidance to support Arcstead’s growth.
