Fractional CFO Partner – Home Services & Residential Contractors

We are seeking an experienced Fractional CFO / Financial Partner to collaborate with our agency and deliver high-level financial strategy directly to home services business owners (HVAC, plumbing, roofing, electrical, landscaping, etc.). Our goal is simple: help home service contractors optimize cash flow, maximize profit margins, and scale sustainably. We need a financial expert who understands the unique unit economics of job-costed, field-service businesses. Responsibilities: Provide fractional CFO and strategic advisory services to home service business clients. Analyze job costing, overhead, labor efficiency, and gross profit margins to identify cash leaks. Build custom financial models, rolling cash flow forecasts, and KPI dashboards. Guide owners on pricing strategies, debt management, and growth capital allocation. Participate in strategy calls to translate complex financials into clear, actionable advice. Requirements: Proven experience as a Fractional CFO or Senior Financial Consultant specifically working with home service contractors or trades. Deep understanding of job costing, progress billing, field labor management, and trade-specific accounting setups. Strong ability to communicate financial concepts clearly to non-financial business owners. Experience setting up actionable metrics (e.g., average ticket size, billable efficiency, gross margin by service line).
