Role Description The Fractional Chief Marketing Officer (CMO) will lead The Dating Doc’s marketing strategy and execution, ensuring the brand grows across coaching, events, matchmaking, and media offerings across all markets. This part-time, hybrid role is based in San Antonio, TX and requires close collaboration with the founder and cross-functional teams. Day-to-day responsibilities include developing and refining the overall marketing strategy, planning and launching integrated campaigns, and aligning marketing initiatives with revenue and growth goals. The role will oversee brand positioning, content direction, and customer acquisition across digital, social, and offline channels, including events and partnerships. The Fractional CMO will analyze performance metrics, optimize marketing spend, guide public relations efforts, and support sales enablement to drive consistent lead generation and customer retention. Qualifications Strong skills in Market Planning and Marketing Management to design, prioritize, and execute effective, data-informed marketing roadmaps. Proficiency in Market Research to understand target audiences, competitive dynamics, and emerging trends in the dating and lifestyle space. Experience in Public Relations, including media outreach, brand storytelling, and reputation management. Background in Sales or close collaboration with sales functions to align marketing initiatives with pipeline and revenue goals. Proven leadership experience in senior or fractional marketing roles, preferably within consumer services, lifestyle, or tech-enabled businesses. Ability to interpret marketing analytics, set KPIs, and optimize campaigns across digital and offline channels. Excellent communication, collaboration, and stakeholder management skills, with the ability to influence strategy and execution. Bachelor’s degree in Marketing, Business, Communications, or a related field; advanced degree or relevant certifications are a plus. Comfort working on-site in San Antonio, TX, with a hands-on approach to events, partnerships, and community-driven marketing for San Antonio and all company markets.
