Fractional Finance Expert — Capital Raise Preparation

We run active capital-raise mandates. Before a company meets investors, the numbers, the story, and the project have to be airtight. That's your job. You own the financial workstream on each mandate from kickoff until we open the room to investors. This is embedded work. You sit inside our mandates as part of our team, not as an outside contractor handing over a deliverable. You're on the client calls, you drive the timeline, and when an investor or founder asks a hard question, you're the one who answers it. What you'll do - Build the financial models: 3-statement, cohort/unit economics, scenario and sensitivity analysis, clean enough to survive investor scrutiny. - Advise on valuation: comps, precedent transactions, DCF where it applies, and a defensible ask. - Define, calculate, and benchmark the core KPIs that matter for each company's stage and sector. - Run real market research. Primary work, TAM/SAM built bottom-up, competitor teardowns, customer and channel signals, not a recycled industry report. - Build a data-room - Lead client calls and be the finance-facing presence on each mandate. - Project-manage each mandate end to end until we start reaching out to investors. Who you are - Serious finance depth: investment banking, PE/VC, growth equity, or operating CFO experience. You've built models that closed rounds, not just classroom exercises. - A charismatic communicator. You can hold a room, simplify without dumbing down, and make founders and investors trust the numbers because they trust you. - Comfortable owning the relationship, not just the spreadsheet. - Willing to represent the firm publicly while you're working with us — your LinkedIn and profile reflect the affiliation, because you're client- and investor-facing under our name. What this is not - Not a seat for someone running their own agency or juggling a personal client book. We need focus and availability on our mandates, not whatever's left after yours. - Not passive model-building in a vacuum. If you don't want to be on calls and in front of founders, this isn't it.
