Fractional Partner / Senior Consultant to Design and Launch Global AI‑Driven Consulting Firm

Overview I’m building a global, remote consulting firm that helps small, mid‑market, and selected enterprise clients use AI and data to drive growth and efficiency. The firm will operate with a McKinsey‑style, practice‑based model but fully remote, using a global network of contract experts. Our initial practices will focus on: • AI & Data Strategy • Predictive Analytics & Machine Learning for Decisions • Customer Experience & Revenue Operations (CX/RevOps) with AI • Sales & Marketing with AI • Professional‑Services & SME AI Modernisation I’m looking for an experienced consultant or ex‑practice lead to work with me as a fractional partner to design and operationalise this business in its first 12 months. What you’ll help with • Refine the overall firm strategy and positioning across the five practices. • Define 2–3 flagship, productised offerings per practice with clear scopes, deliverables, and pricing. • Design the operating model: • How we staff projects with global experts. • Processes for sales, scoping, delivery, QA, and reporting. • Templates (decks, proposals, SOWs, case study formats). • Build a 12‑month go‑to‑market and launch plan: • Target client profiles and regions (e.g., UAE, Singapore, India, UK, US). • Outreach and partnership strategies. • Pipeline and conversion metrics. • Advise on initial team structure and key roles (core team vs contract network). • Optionally, participate in a few early sales calls and help shape first engagements. Ideal experience • 7+ years in a consulting firm (strategy, data/analytics, AI, digital, or CX/RevOps), ideally at manager/partner level. • Experience designing or scaling a practice or boutique consultancy (service portfolio, pricing, delivery model). • Strong understanding of how AI and data are applied in real business contexts (strategy, analytics, CX, marketing, or professional services). • Comfortable working remotely with founders and global teams. • Excellent communication and documentation skills (can turn ideas into clear frameworks and assets). Deliverables (first 8–12 weeks) • Refined firm positioning document and practice architecture. • Service catalogue with at least 10–15 productised offerings (across the five practices). • Draft operating manual: sales process, delivery playbooks, QA, reporting templates. • 12‑month launch plan with milestones, target segments, and hiring roadmap. • Feedback on first 1–2 client opportunities (offer design, pricing, proposal).
