Freelance Book Publicist

I’m launching my sci-fi romancenovel, Given: The Perfect Spouse, and need a publicist to help with podcast bookings and local media outreach. i am a seasoned author but my last book was published in 2015. All proceeds from my book will go to my nonprofit Lift2Enrich.org. The job desciption includes identifying and reaching out to relevant podcasts, securing interviews, and supporting media coverage in the local area. This is a part-time, short-term project for someone who can help increase visibility for the book launch. What I need help with: Pitching me for podcast interviews, prioritizing relationship podcasts, social issues podcasts, and AI/tech culture podcasts (the book's themes fit all three) Outreach to BookTok and Bookstagram influencers for reviews/promo (I have some commitments already) Pitching local and national press and radio, including stretch targets like Kiss 104.1 (Atlanta), Atlanta morning shows, Essence magazine, and Portia's daytime show Drafting press pitches and a simple media kit Tracking outreach in a shared spreadsheet (contacts, status, follow-ups) Priority targets (where I want most hours spent): Relationship, social issues, and AI-themed podcasts BookTok/Bookstagram influencers and reviewers Stretch/aspirational targets (pitch these, but not the core deliverable): Kiss 104.1 Atlanta Atlanta local morning shows Essence magazine Portia's daytime show What I'll provide: Author bio, headshot, book description, ARC/manuscript access Existing platform: Facebook (Writers Tablet), Instagram, TikTok A basic press kit / Carrd landing page Ideal candidate: Experience with author launches, book PR, or podcast booking Existing podcast or influencer contacts a plus Strong written pitch skills Please include in your application: relevant book launch/PR experience, any existing podcast or influencer relationships, and how you'd prioritize outreach in month one.
