PR & Media Relations Lead for Editorial Campaign

We are looking for a project-based PR and media relations lead to help us plan and execute an online business media exposure campaign for our company. We are a Philippine-based manufacturing company serving brands in the health, wellness, food, beverage, and supplement space. We have a business story we want to share publicly about a strategic partnership that strengthens our company’s technical expertise, product development capability, and service credibility. Our goal is brand awareness and online visibility. We want the story to appear in reputable online business media, relevant press platforms, and selected Facebook pages where our target audience may see it. We want the content to feel like a credible business story, not a hard-selling advertisement. We currently do not have an internal PR or media relations person, so we need someone who can lead the process from planning to execution. The person we hire should be able to help with strategy, work planning, story angle, copy direction, media coordination, follow-ups, and publishing status. Scope of work: 1. Understand our company background and the business story we want to publish. 2. Recommend the best PR angle and positioning. 3. Create a simple PR work plan and execution timeline. 4. Guide the structure and direction of the press release or business feature article. 5. Review the copywriting to make sure it sounds credible, professional, and not overly promotional. 6. Recommend reputable online business media, press platforms, and selected Facebook pages where the story can be published or featured. 7. Coordinate with external media contacts, publishers, PR platforms, or page administrators. 8. Help manage revisions, approvals, follow-ups, and publishing status. 9. Provide clear updates during the campaign. 10. Submit a final report with links to all published content. We are not just looking for someone who can write a press release. We need someone who can lead the whole PR campaign and help us make the story strong enough for media exposure. Preferred experience: • PR campaign management • Media relations or journalist outreach • Business press releases or editorial-style feature articles • Online media placement • B2B, manufacturing, wellness, food, supplement, FMCG, or technical service-related PR • Strong copy judgment and editorial direction • Experience coordinating with external media, publishers, or PR platforms • Ability to make business content sound credible, natural, and not too salesy Deliverables may include: • PR campaign work plan • Recommended story angle and positioning • Press release or article direction • Reviewed or improved press release / feature article copy • Target media list • Outreach message or pitch template • Recommended publication options • Coordination with media or publishers • Publishing status tracker • Final report with published links Important notes: Please clarify in your proposal if your service includes only PR strategy and coordination, or if you also have access to media placement options. If media placement fees, sponsored article fees, press release distribution fees, or Facebook page posting fees are separate, please provide a clear breakdown. We prefer someone who can help us understand the difference between earned media, paid media placement, sponsored content, and press release distribution. We want a realistic recommendation on what approach will work best for our objective. Our main objective is brand awareness, credibility, and online visibility. This is not a direct sales campaign.
