Fundraising Operations Lead
Worldwide
We are a U.S.-based deep-tech startup solving one of the largest challenges in AI infrastructure: power and cooling. Our technology was originally developed in collaboration with Oak Ridge National Laboratory under a U.S. Department of Energy program. We have a substantial IP portfolio, active engagements with major data center and infrastructure companies, and are preparing for our next phase of fundraising and commercialization. We are looking for a highly capable Fundraising Operations Lead to work directly with the founder and take ownership of building and running our fundraising process. This is not an investor relations role. This is a hands-on execution role for someone who can help build a world-class fundraising machine. Responsibilities include: * Preparing and maintaining investor materials and data rooms. * Building and managing our investor pipeline and CRM. * Mapping VCs, strategics, family offices, and identifying warm introductions. * Managing outreach campaigns and follow-up cadence. * Scheduling investor meetings and maintaining fundraising momentum. * Preparing founder briefing materials prior to investor meetings. * Performing post-call analysis and recommending improvements to positioning, messaging, and strategy. * Monitoring AI infrastructure, energy, and venture markets. * Developing investor-specific positioning and messaging. * Coordinating responses to diligence requests and investor questions. * Building dashboards, reports, and fundraising KPIs. We're looking for someone who: * Has experience supporting VC fundraising or startup capital raises. * Is an exceptional communicator in English. * Has strong PowerPoint, Excel, CRM, and research skills. * Understands venture capital and investor psychology. * Is highly organized and execution-oriented. * Can work independently with minimal supervision. * Can overlap at least 4 hours with U.S. Eastern Time. Success in this role will be measured by: * Quality of investor pipeline. * Follow-up execution. * Fundraising readiness. * Speed of diligence response. * Overall fundraising momentum. This will begin as a part-time engagement (10-25 hours/month) with the potential to grow significantly over time. When applying, please answer: 1. Describe your experience supporting a venture fundraising process. 2. How would you help a founder raise a Series A as quickly as possible? 3. What tools do you use to manage investor pipelines and fundraising operations? 4. Describe a situation where you materially improved fundraising outcomes for a company. 5. If you joined tomorrow, what would your first 15 days look like?
