The Opportunity We’re hiring a Strategic Compute Finance Lead to own the capital raising, deal execution, and financial strategy behind Evergrid AI’s global compute portfolio. The primary objective of this role is to close financings for GPU clusters. This role sits at the intersection of infrastructure finance and commercial execution. You will leverage your existing relationships across banking, family offices, and private credit to secure the capital required to build our infrastructure. We’re establishing the financial architecture that supports how Evergrid AI acquires, finances, and deploys GPU compute at scale. The right person for this role is a deal-closer who thrives on building capital capacity, structuring debt, and deepening lender relationships from the ground up. What You’ll Do Close Cluster Financings: Structure, negotiate, and execute complex financing packages that align debt terms with cluster deployment timelines and revenue ramps. Leverage Capital Relationships: Actively manage and expand Evergrid AI’s network of capital partners, serving as the primary point of contact for banking institutions, family offices, and private credit funds. Drive Deal Architecture: Own the financial structuring of major infrastructure deals—modeling time-value-of-money trade-offs across long-term contract structures and build/lease/route decisions. Lead Performance Modeling: Direct financial planning across Evergrid AI’s GPU cluster portfolio, including NPV/IRR modeling, scenario analysis, and ROI evaluation for major procurement decisions. Manage Partner Communications: Oversee ongoing capital partner management, including covenant reporting, draw schedules, and strategic updates. Forecast at Scale: Build and maintain multi-year capex forecasting models across GPU procurement, energy, and data center operations. What We’re Looking For Deep Industry Relationships: You bring an active, established network of decision-makers in banking, family offices, and private credit with an appetite for infrastructure or technology investments. Deal Execution Expertise: Proven track record of closing capital-intensive physical asset financings. You have 3+ years in infrastructure/project finance, private equity (data centers, fiber, energy), or investment banking with an infrastructure focus. GPU Infrastructure Knowledge: Familiarity with the economics of GPU compute, data center operations, or cloud/neocloud business models. You understand what drives unit economics in AI compute infrastructure. Advanced Financial Modeling: Hands-on experience building complex financial models involving hardware procurement, colocation, and energy infrastructure. Adaptability & Judgment: Ability to build financial frameworks from scratch where assumptions shift and data is incomplete. You possess strong judgment on when to be precise versus directional. Builder Mentality: Comfort operating in a lean, high-trust startup team with direct founder access. You would rather build the financing process than inherit a legacy one.
