GTM + GA4 Tracking Specialist: Event Tracking, Conversion Setup & QA

Beglaubigt.de is a German legal-tech company running digital company formations, online notarizations, and certified translations. We have an in-house data/automation stack and are adding a dedicated tracking specialist to work alongside our existing team. This is ongoing work, not a one-off. Because we operate in a regulated, privacy-sensitive space (GDPR / BDSG, EU data residency), clean and compliant tracking matters as much as complete tracking. What you'll own: - Building and maintaining Google Tag Manager containers - GA4 setup: event tracking, custom dimensions, conversions, and a clean data layer across our funnel - Tracking across multiple products (incorporations, notarizations, translations, business addresses) - Debugging why events fire wrong or double-count, and documenting what you build - Feeding clean tracking data downstream into our BigQuery warehouse You're a fit if you: - Have shipped GTM + GA4 implementations you can walk us through - Are comfortable with data layer logic and can read/write basic JS for triggers - Document your work so others can maintain it - Overlap several hours with IST for handoffs with our current team Nice to have: server-side GTM, experience tracking multi-step / multi-product funnels, experience feeding data into BigQuery. To start, we'll run a small paid test task on a sample setup before ongoing work.
