German-speaking E-Commerce Operations Manager for Shopify Brand

I am looking for a German-speaking Finance Operations Manager for my Shopify e-commerce business. Important: This is not a traditional bookkeeping position, and it is not a customer support or virtual assistant role. I already work with a German e-commerce accounting firm that handles bookkeeping, tax filings, and tax advisory. What I am looking for is someone who can organize, analyze, improve, and maintain the overall finance and accounting operations of the business. My setup includes multiple Shopify stores, a German sole proprietorship, a US LLC, Airwallex, Shopify Payments, and additional payment providers. Over the years, multiple systems, stores, and processes have been added, which has made the finance and accounting side of the business increasingly complex. I am looking for someone who can gain a complete understanding of the existing setup, identify weaknesses and inefficiencies, create structure, and implement scalable processes. This includes coordinating with my accounting firm, organizing Shopify, Airwallex, and payment provider data, matching payouts to the correct stores, entities, and reporting periods, and identifying missing invoices, receipts, or supporting documentation. You will also be responsible for documenting processes, creating standard operating procedures, and building systems that reduce manual work and prevent future chaos. Most importantly, I am not looking for someone who only provides recommendations or writes reports. I am looking for someone who can actively help implement solutions. This includes tasks such as setting up and optimizing Billbee, improving workflows, organizing documentation, coordinating with accountants, and helping execute operational improvements within the existing systems. Ideally, you already have hands-on experience with Billbee and can not only explain what should be done but also help get it done. You should be fluent in German, have experience with Shopify and e-commerce businesses, and understand finance operations, accounting workflows, and working alongside accounting firms and tax advisors. Experience with Billbee, Airwallex, Shopify Payments, international e-commerce businesses, and multi-entity structures (such as a German company and a US LLC) is highly preferred. I am not looking for someone who only records transactions, performs basic administrative work, or acts solely as an advisor. I am looking for someone who takes ownership, creates structure, identifies problems, develops solutions, and helps implement them. This is intended to be a long-term partnership for someone who enjoys building systems, improving processes, and acting as the central point of contact for finance and accounting operations in a growing e-commerce business.
