# Google Apps Script Developer Needed – Build a Product Search Web App Using Google Sheets ## About Us We are **Stone Lighting Engineering Pte Ltd**, a Singapore-based lighting engineering company with over 11 years of experience supplying lighting products and providing technical support. We have approximately six engineers who need to quickly search product information when supporting customers and preparing quotations. --- ## Project Overview Our product information is already well organized in Microsoft Excel. We plan to migrate the data into Google Sheets and use Google Sheets as the master database. We are looking for an experienced Google Apps Script developer to build a simple, fast, and user-friendly web application that allows our engineers to search product information. This is **NOT** a complex software development project. We are looking for a lightweight solution based on: * Google Sheets * Google Apps Script * HTML/CSS (simple interface) * JavaScript (if required) --- ## What We Already Have Our product information already includes: * Product Categories * Product Models * Product Specifications * Product Photos * Datasheets (PDF) * Certification Documents * Warranty Documents * Product Prices Our data is already well organized. Very little data cleaning is required. --- ## Main Requirements We need a web application that can search products from Google Sheets. Users should be able to search by: * Product Model * Product Name * Product Category * Wattage * Brand * Colour Temperature (CCT) * Dimming Type * IP Rating The search should be fast and user-friendly. --- ## Product Details Page When a product is selected, the system should display: * Product Photo * Product Name * Product Model * Technical Specifications * Product Description * Datasheet (Download) * Certification Documents (Download) * Warranty Information * Product Price (Internal Users Only) --- ## Google Sheet Structure We are open to recommendations. However, we expect the Google Sheets database to include separate sheets such as: * Products * Categories * Documents * Prices The system should be easy for non-technical staff to maintain. Adding a new product should only require adding a new row to Google Sheets. No programming should be required after project completion. --- ## User Interface The interface should be clean and modern. Example workflow: Home Page ↓ Search Box ↓ Search Results ↓ Product Details The interface should work well on: * Desktop * Laptop * Tablet --- ## Security Internal users should be able to view pricing.
