I’m looking for an experienced Google Display Ads consultant for a one-time, 1–2 hour strategy call. I will be building, launching, and managing the campaigns myself. I am not looking for ongoing campaign management. I need someone who has successfully launched and scaled listicle-style offers on Google Display, ideally in senior, homeowner, insurance, health, or similar direct-response verticals. I am highly experienced with Meta Ads, but I am new to Google Display and want to get fully caught up on the correct launch and scaling framework as quickly as possible. During the call, I want to cover: * The recommended campaign structure for a new listicle offer * How many campaigns to launch * How many ad groups per campaign * How many ads and creative variations per ad group * Whether to separate audiences, demographics, devices, placements, and creatives into different campaigns or ad groups * The best bidding strategy for the testing phase * Recommended starting budgets * How much data or spend is needed before making decisions * The correct testing timeline * How to move from initial testing into scaling * Demographic targeting strategy, including age, gender, household income, parental status, and other relevant segments * Whether demographic targeting should be broad, layered, excluded, or separated * Audience targeting options, including in-market audiences, affinity audiences, custom segments, remarketing, optimized targeting, and broad targeting * Whether custom intent or search-based audience segments are effective for listicle offers * Placement targeting strategy * Whether to begin with broad inventory or specific placements * Whether you maintain a proven placement whitelist or blacklist * How to find, evaluate, and scale profitable placements * How to exclude mobile apps, games, low-quality inventory, accidental-click traffic, and fraudulent traffic * Whether YouTube, Gmail, Discover, and standard Display inventory should be separated * Device strategy, including mobile, desktop, and tablet segmentation * Image ad strategy and recommended sizes * Responsive Display Ads versus uploaded image ads * Headline, description, and call-to-action strategy * How many headline angles should be tested * How Google combines responsive ad assets and how to control message congruence * How to adapt listicle hooks that work on Meta for Google Display * Landing-page requirements and policy considerations * Conversion tracking and attribution setup * Whether to optimize for clicks, landing-page views, leads, sales, or another conversion event * How to account for delayed conversions and affiliate-network postbacks * The most important reporting columns and metrics * Healthy benchmarks for CTR, CPC, conversion rate, CPA, placement quality, and impression volume * How to identify whether poor results are caused by the offer, creative, audience, placement, landing page, or bidding strategy * The correct optimization cadence * What changes should and should not be made during the learning and testing period * How to scale budgets without destabilizing performance * When to duplicate campaigns versus increasing budgets * Whether portfolio bidding, target CPA, or target ROAS should be used at scale * Common mistakes Meta advertisers make when moving into Google Display * Current Google Display limitations, risks, and opportunities for direct-response listicle campaigns The ideal consultant should be able to share specific, practical recommendations based on campaigns they have personally launched, not generic Google Ads advice. Please include a brief summary of your relevant Google Display experience, the verticals you have worked in, approximate spend managed, and whether you have experience with senior or homeowner listicle offers.
