Title: Grant Research Specialist for UK Government Funding Landscape Review Summary: We’re looking for an experienced UK grant researcher to conduct a targeted review of potential government funding opportunities for a new London-based tech group operating in several early-stage ventures including a fintech product, SaaS tools, and consumer-facing apps. All businesses are for-profit, but they are innovation-led and at startup stage. This engagement is focused on identifying realistic funding routes, eligibility, and next steps. We want to understand what government grants, innovation schemes, or public funding pathways may apply to our portfolio before we invest time into applications. Key Areas for Research: • Innovate UK Funding: Mapping relevant Smart Grants, innovation calls, sector-specific challenges, and innovation loans. • R&D and Innovation Support: Identifying R&D tax credit applicability, digital innovation grants, and regional growth funds. • Fintech and Digital Funding: Reviewing any fintech-focused government schemes, digital infrastructure grants, or innovation programmes that support financial technology. • Creative and Digital Tech Grants: Highlighting opportunities for creative-tech, digital content, or app-based innovation where relevant.
