Worldwide
About Next Gen Men Next Gen Men (NGM) is a Canadian non-profit focused on positive masculinity education and gender equity for youth. We create and deliver programming across schools, workplaces, and communities. Our educational card decks are used by facilitators and educators across Canada. About This Project We are refreshing our suite of educational card decks to reflect our new NGM Education & Training brand identity. We’re looking for an experienced print and graphic designer with strong InDesign skills to work on two decks as part of this rebrand. What You’ll Be Working On - Cards for Equity (Possible rename) — Rebrand an existing 60-card discussion prompt deck to our new NGM Education & Training brand identity. This deck also requires a resize from its current US Game Deck size (56 × 87 mm) to our standard card size (63 × 88 mm, Custom Game Card format). - Sports Deck (title TBC) — Design a brand new card deck from scratch in the NGM Education & Training brand. Because our question content is still in development, we need a fully templated blank card set of approximately 50 cards that our team can populate with questions internally after delivery. No question text will be provided — placeholder category names and text frames are all that’s needed. Deliverables - Editable Adobe InDesign source file (.indd), fully packaged with all fonts, links, and assets collected - Editable PSD files for each deck - Blank card templates with properly named and applied - InDesign paragraph styles (e.g. Question Text, Category Label, Card Number) - One master template per category for the Sports Deck (approximately 5 categories, exact number TBC) - A brief “how to use this template” guide (1 page per deck) so our team can add and edit content independently What We’ll Provide - NGM Education & Training brand guidelines - Logo files (SVG, EPS, PNG) - Brand fonts - Existing source files for any decks being rebranded (PSD, INDD) - Examples of what completion looks like from our other decks Skills & Experience Required - Expert proficiency in Adobe InDesign — including paragraph styles, master pages, and file packaging for print - Experience with PSD file creation for print - Experience with Adobe Illustrator and Photoshop to create or update the ‘back side’ design for the card deck(s) - Experience with exporting from InDesign or Photoshop for print - Strong understanding of print specifications, bleed, and safe zone margins - Experience designing card games, educational materials, or print template systems - Ability to work within an existing brand system while maintaining individual visual identity for each deck - Clear communication and ability to flag issues or questions before production begins Project Details Revisions: Please include your proposed revision rounds in your proposal To Apply Please include in your proposal: - Portfolio examples of card game, print, or editorial design work - Examples of InDesign template work (particularly editable template systems) - Your per-deck rate or fixed project quote - Your estimated turnaround time - Any questions or clarifications before you begin
