Graphic Designer Needed for Beef Jerky Bag Packaging Design

We’re looking for an experienced graphic designer / packaging designer to help us design new packaging for our beef jerky bags. We have existing sample concepts, product direction, and brand guidelines, but we need a designer who can turn those materials into polished, professional, print-ready packaging designs. This project is for food packaging, so attention to detail is important. We need someone who understands layout, hierarchy, branding, dielines, print production, and how to make packaging look good both in person and online. Project Overview We are developing packaging for beef jerky bags and need a designer to create finished designs based on our concepts and brand guidelines. We are looking for someone who can help refine the look, improve the layout, make sure the packaging fits our brand, and prepare files that are ready for production. The designer will be responsible for: -Designing beef jerky bag packaging using our sample concepts and brand guidelines -Creating clean, professional layouts for front and back bag designs -Working with product names, flavor callouts, nutrition/ingredient areas, badges, claims, barcodes, and required packaging information -Making sure the design feels consistent with our brand -Preparing print-ready files based on the bag dieline/template -Handling revisions based on feedback -Catching layout or production issues we may miss -Providing editable source files and exported production files Required Skills -Strong experience with packaging design -Strong experience with Adobe Illustrator and/or Photoshop -Experience designing for print production -Ability to work from brand guidelines and sample concepts -Good understanding of typography, layout, color, and visual hierarchy -Ability to prepare files using dielines, bleed, safe zones, and print specs -Strong attention to detail -Clear communication and ability to work through revisions Nice to Have -Experience with food or snack packaging -Experience designing flexible packaging, pouches, or bags -Experience with CPG brands -Familiarity with nutrition panels, ingredient statements, -PC/barcode placement, and packaging compliance layouts -Ability to create mockups for review or marketing use Deliverables We would like the final deliverables to include: -Front and back packaging designs -Editable source files -Print-ready files -Properly organized layers -Files built on the provided dieline/template -Exported proofs or mockups for review -Revisions based on feedback What We’ll Provide- -Brand guidelines -Sample packaging concepts -Product information -Flavor names and product details -Required text, claims, badges, and label information -Bag dieline/template -Existing packaging references -Feedback throughout the process Ideal Candidate- The ideal designer has experience creating packaging that looks polished, retail-ready, and production-ready. We need someone who can take our rough concepts and brand direction, improve the design, and make sure the final files are clean and usable for printing. We are looking for someone detail-oriented, collaborative, and comfortable working with feedback from a small team.
