Graphic Designer for Brand Logo, Realistic Product Skins & Packaging - Long-Term Project

Hi, We are looking for a highly talented, visionary, and technically skilled graphic designer to help us build a powerful brand identity from scratch. Based in Canada, waVen is an ambitious e-commerce startup launching a unique, high-end line of themed water guns. Our goal is simple: break away completely from traditional, cheap-looking toy designs and establish a powerful, high-end international brand. We want to treat water guns the way premium gaming brands treat limited-edition consoles or custom tactical equipment, creating custom, premium, and ultra-realistic products that instantly capture attention in the global market. THE WAVEN VISION & CONCEPT Traditional water guns on the market are often bright green, orange, and look like cheap plastic toys meant solely for toddlers. waVen is changing the game. We are designing high-performance, premium water guns that feature intricate, mature, and realistic themes. Imagine combining the sleek look of modern design, high-end tactical gear, and limited-edition collectors' items into a summer product. To achieve this, we need a designer who does not just draw logos, but someone who can think in 3D, understand industrial themes, and create immersive visual experiences across the product itself and its packaging. THE DELIVERABLES REQUIRED FOR THE LAUNCH We are looking for a creative, long-term collaborator who can handle the following design assets for our initial collection: 1. Brand Logo: A sleek, modern, and highly impactful logo for the waVen brand identity. It needs to look premium, professional, and easily recognizable when printed on plastic, cardboard, or digital media. 2. Product Designs (Water Gun Skins): Custom, detailed, and realistic weapon textures/skins. Each model in our lineup will have a specific theme (such as futuristic, tactical, carbon, or special editions). The designs must look highly personalized, premium, and seamless when applied to the physical product. 3. Packaging Design (Boxes): An eye-catching, attractive, and realistic box design for each product. The packaging must perfectly match the specific theme of the water gun inside. We want our customers to feel like they are unboxing a luxury tech product or a high-end gaming asset. FACTORY & MANUFACTURING REQUIREMENTS (CRUCIAL) Because we are moving directly from design to mass production with our manufacturing partners, this is not just a digital concept job. You must have technical knowledge of product manufacturing. You must be capable of delivering: Production-ready vector files (.AI, .EPS, etc.). Precise technical specifications, blueprints, or industrial die-lines. Files formatted correctly for industrial molding, large-scale direct printing on plastic surfaces (hydro-dipping, UV printing, or silkscreening), and high-quality box printing. WHY THIS CAN BECOME A FULL-TIME POSITION We want to be completely transparent: waVen is a startup in its early launch phase. Because of this, our initial budget for this exact job post is a placeholder. We are looking for an optimized, startup-friendly rate to kick off our very first collection. However, here is why this is a massive opportunity for you: If our initial launch succeeds, and we are putting everything behind it to ensure it does, this brand will scale incredibly fast. A successful e-commerce brand requires a constant, never-ending stream of graphic assets. If your designs help us sell out our first collection, this freelance contract has the direct potential to evolve into a permanent, Full-Time position within our company. As a Full-Time designer for waVen as we grow, your future responsibilities would expand to: Designing dozens of new custom themes and limited-edition skins for future product rollouts. Creating ongoing marketing assets, social media content, and high-converting Shopify store graphics. Developing new luxury packaging concepts for expanded product lines (accessories, gear, merchandise). Targeting seasonal expansions (such as custom resort and hotel gift-shop editions in warm climates like Mexico and Florida during winter months). We do not just want a quick gig worker; we want a future Lead Designer and a foundational member of the waVen team. If you scale with us, your income and role will scale directly with the company's global success.
