Greece Ecommerce Launch Coordinator — 3PL, Courier & VAT Setup
Worldwide
ROLE SUMMARY We are a fast-growing ecommerce company based in Cyprus, expanding into Greece. We sell physical products such as walking pads, fitness equipment, cat products, and other bulky consumer items. We are looking for a hands-on, practical, Greek-speaking Ecommerce Launch Coordinator to help us set up our Greece operations from zero. The role will involve finding and coordinating with 3PL warehouses, couriers, accountants, and other local service providers in Greece. This is not just an online research role. We need someone who is comfortable calling companies, chasing answers, comparing options, and helping us move the launch forward. This will start as a small paid hourly test project. If the work is strong, this can become ongoing part-time work supporting our Greece expansion. COMMITMENT & AVAILABILITY This is a FREELANCE HOURLY ROLE. We will start with a small paid test of approximately 3–5 hours. If the work is good, we expect this to grow into ongoing part-time work related to our Greece launch and operations. You must be available during regular Cyprus/Greece business hours, because the role requires contacting warehouses, couriers, accountants, suppliers, and other service providers. We are looking for someone proactive, responsive, and commercially minded — not someone who simply waits for instructions. COMPENSATION This is an hourly freelance role. Please include your hourly rate in your proposal. For the right person, there is potential for ongoing work after the initial paid test project. KEY RESPONSIBILITIES 1. 3PL & WAREHOUSE RESEARCH AND COORDINATION * Find suitable 3PL warehouses in Greece for ecommerce fulfillment. * Contact warehouses directly by phone and email. * Check if they can receive pallets/stock from Cyprus. * Check storage costs, pick/pack costs, receiving fees, return handling, and other operational costs. * Confirm whether they can handle bulky products such as walking pads, fitness equipment, and cat products. * Build a clear comparison table with pricing, services, pros, cons, and recommendations. 2. COURIER RESEARCH AND COORDINATION * Find courier companies suitable for ecommerce delivery in Greece. * Check options for bulky product delivery. * Confirm pricing, delivery times, COD availability, return handling, and service coverage. * Identify whether any courier can also offer warehousing/fulfillment services. * Help us find a courier/warehouse solution if available. * Compare options and recommend the best providers. 3. ACCOUNTANT / VAT SETUP RESEARCH * Find accountants in Greece who can help a Cypriot company register for Greek VAT. * Contact accountants and confirm requirements, pricing, timeline, and ongoing filing costs. * Clarify what documents would be needed from our Cyprus company. * Prepare a simple comparison of accountant options. * Help coordinate follow-up calls where needed. 4. GREECE LAUNCH COORDINATION * Help coordinate communication between our company and selected providers. * Assist with next steps for transferring stock from Cyprus to Greece. * Help us prepare the operational setup for pre-orders. * Maintain clear notes, logs, and comparison sheets. * Follow up quickly and make sure nothing gets stuck. * Take ownership of practical launch tasks as they arise. REQUIRED EXPERIENCE & SKILLS * Greek Language: Fluent Greek is required. * English: Strong written and spoken English is required. * Communication: You must be comfortable calling companies, not just sending emails. * Operations Mindset: You should be practical, organized, and good at getting clear answers. * Google Sheets: You must be comfortable creating simple comparison tables and tracking information. * Resourcefulness: You should know how to find providers, ask the right questions, and follow up until you get useful answers. * Attention to Detail: You must be able to compare pricing, services, and operational details carefully. * Availability: You must be available during Cyprus/Greece business hours. NICE TO HAVE * Ecommerce experience. * Logistics, courier, warehouse, 3PL, or supply chain experience. * Experience working with accountants, suppliers, or service providers. * Experience with WooCommerce, Shopify, COD, courier delivery, or returns. * Knowledge of the Greek ecommerce/logistics market. FIRST PAID TEST TASK The first task will be a paid 3–5 hour test. The goal will be to find and contact: * Suitable 3PL warehouses in Greece. * Courier companies suitable for ecommerce and bulky deliveries. * Accountants who can help with Greek VAT registration and filings for a Cypriot company. You will then prepare a simple Google Sheet with: * Company name. * Website. * Contact details. * Contact person, if available. * Services offered. * Pricing, if available. * Whether they can support bulky ecommerce products. * Whether they can support COD, returns, and ecommerce delivery. * Pros and cons. * Your recommendation. We do not want a generic list copied from Google. We want real, useful, actionable information from companies that can actually help us launch in Greece. HOW TO APPLY Please submit a proposal including: * Your location. * Your languages spoken. * Your hourly rate. * Your availability during Cyprus/Greece business hours. * Any relevant ecommerce, logistics, warehouse, courier, accounting coordination, or operations experience. * An example of a time you had to call, follow up with, or chase companies to get clear information. * Why you think you would be good for this Greece launch project. APPLICATION FILTER To prove you have high attention to detail, please start your cover letter with the phrase: "GREECE LAUNCH READY" Applications without this phrase will be automatically declined.
