Growth Marketer & Local Business Development Representative in Somalia

We bridge the gap for diaspora investors, NGOs, and local enterprises by bringing UK/GCC corporate governance and digital transformation standards to the Horn of Africa. We are seeking a brilliant, entrepreneurial local operator who can act as our on-the-ground presence. This role goes far beyond content creation; you will be responsible for creating high-trust localized media and actively hunting, qualifying, and securing high-value B2B consulting leads. Key Responsibilities Localized Content Production: Shoot high-quality, professional smartphone video scripts in native Somali explaining our corporate services, translating complex B2B solutions into trustworthy, engaging content. Lead Generation & Pipeline Building: Actively monitor local procurement channels, identify diaspora-backed infrastructure projects, and network with local business owners to source advisory leads. Lead Qualification: Serve as the initial point of contact for local inquiries, vetting businesses to ensure they meet our minimum budget requirements before scheduling them with our London principal. Requirements: Flawless Professional Somali & English: Ability to speak the language of corporate executives and government officials. B2B Marketing or Sales Experience: Proven track record of generating business leads, managing relationships, or working within a professional agency/consultancy setting. High Commercial Intelligence: You must understand how local businesses operate, what tenders look like, and why projects fail in the region.
