Growth Marketing Account Manager – Tech/SaaS/AI Startups (0 to 1)

We're a growth marketing agency working exclusively with early-stage tech, SaaS, and AI startups, helping them go from zero to one. We're looking for an Account Manager who is also a genuine growth marketing practitioner, someone who can own the client relationship end-to-end while deeply understanding the strategy being pitched and executed. This isn't a traditional account management role where you relay requests between teams. You'll need to speak the language of growth strategy fluently enough to represent it convincingly to founders, answer strategic questions on the spot, and flag gaps or risks before they become client-facing problems. What you'll own: 1. Act as the primary point of contact for assigned clients, managing expectations, timelines, and deliverables 2. Understand and be able to articulate the full growth marketing strategy we've built for each client, not just the surface-level tasks 3. Coordinate internally to ensure deliverables are on track and communicate progress clearly to clients 4. Provide informed input on growth strategy for early-stage tech/SaaS/AI companies, positioning, channel strategy, early traction tactics, and scaling from 0 to 1 5. Identify risks, blockers, or scope creep early, and manage these conversations proactively with clients 6. Maintain a strong grasp of each client's product, market, and growth stage so conversations stay relevant and credible Who we're looking for: 1. Proven experience working with early-stage tech startups, SaaS companies, or AI product companies, ideally within their first 12 to 18 months post-launch 2. Solid, hands-on understanding of growth marketing: positioning, acquisition channels, funnel strategy, and early-stage scaling tactics (not just reporting on them) 3. Prior experience as an account manager, client success manager, or similar client-facing role in a marketing or consulting environment 4. Excellent written and verbal communication; comfortable presenting strategy directly to founders and leadership 5. Highly organised, able to manage multiple client accounts and deliverables simultaneously without things slipping Bonus: Brownie points if you have experience working inside or alongside a growth/marketing agency.
